The barstools were very easy to assemble. My husband assembled all (3) in about 35 minutes (w/the electric drill of course)... they appear to very sturdy and quite comfy... I saw a comment or two of ppl complaining about the zipper down the back but I absolutely love it... it kinda goes with the stitching on my black leather sectional. I bought these after scouring endlessly for the right barstools for my tiny apartment island. I received a box of two and one box of one. I wish they had used better packaging - there was styrofoam everywhere, but there were no broken on missing items. All tools needed for assembly were included, and directions were clear for me. After removing everything from their boxes, it took me about 15-20 mins to assemble each chair. The orange color is vibrant, the base is wide and not too light. The chair doesn't wobble or tilt when I sit. It comes up easily on its own, but you need to sit on it to lower it. Overall, this was an excellent purchase for me. ... show more

I bought this chair because I have a standing desk and I like to have the option to alternate standing and sitting throughout the day. This chair is adjustable and sits at a really comfortable height for me while working. The 1/2 back rest definitely helps to improve posture, too, something I desperately needed.... My only iffy thing is while it took me less than 5 mins to assemble, is that it also comes apart fairly easy when moving it around. So far no issues with normal use but when moving it from my living room where it was assembled into my office, I had to hold from the bottom and the chair to keep them together. Not a huge deal but could be a nuisance if you move them often to clean. Anywho, great chair, comfortable, great height, easy to put together, and seems fairly sturdy. ... show more

I actually bought four of these in 2019, and needed a fifth chair so ordered a new one. This reminded me both how long these had been around, and by comparison I could see very little wear and tear despite daily (adult, quite heavy) use. They perhaps don't compare in heft and feel to some $700 bar stools, but they are an exceptional value and have held up with no noticeable wear. ... show more

Although the delivery is longer than prime 2 days, the chair arrived on time as promised. Good side is that they are comfortable to sit on (sink about 0.5 inch); great color & style (yes there is a zipper line in the back and I really don't mind personally); great back support - ~3 inches over my waist line, so it is quite fine to lean back. The most important part for us is that we have a higher than regular bar height counter, this chair with full height, from floor to seat measurement is 33 inches, which is PERFECT for my counter top! The drawback are: they are not well wrapped/packaged, not enough cushion when I opened the box. Fortunately none of the chairs or parts are damaged. I initially want to take 1 star off, but the unbeatable value saved the star! One more thing worth to mention that AFTER my husband assembled them and lift one over to kitchen area, the entire base fell off with a Big Bang. I guess we didn't click the base well enough to fully secure it. We had re-secure the base afterward, it works OK now. Overall I would give 4.5/5 if possible, but no such option. I love these barstools. I ordered three and wasn't quite sure what kind of quality/look I was going to get, but I am so in love. They are just the right color, SUPER easy to assemble, and have a ridiculous height adjustment. Honestly, my kids use them more as a ride to sit and go up because the range on this is pretty high. I can't think of a realistic reason you would ever need the seat to go as high as it's capable of going, but hey, at least you have options. They are sturdy, and survive the kids climbing up and down all the time and twirling on them. They are also comfortable since they have just enough back for comfort and support without taking up a ton of space and looking huge next to a bar. ... show more

Update 12/31/2020: these chairs are holding up well with continuing daily use. I'm still impressed. The fabric upholstery and overall chair shape/cushion are not showing wear. We have shiba inus that shed a lot so the base is prone to needing frequent dusting due to fur buildup but that's the only notable thing about these chairs. I've got to say they are looking great still over time. Original review: I'm impressed with the quality of these chairs considering the low price. They are much more sturdy and high-end than I expected. I bought them for my kitchen island and we use them every day. I've had them about 2 months now and they still look brand new.
