I ordered 4 of these counter height bar stools. 3 have come in and i've easily put them together. You just need a Phillips screwdriver. The small hexagonal tool comes with it. The stools are very sturdy but are not heavy, and the seats are comfortable. The nailhead trim adds extra elegance. They fit nicely under my counter and in between the dining table chairs for extra seating to accommodate guests and our adult kids when they come home to visit. I received these about a month ago. They are very sturdy and comfortable. They were easy to assemble and of a good quality! I replaced 3 padded metal swivel chairs with backs that were very cheap and the screws kept falling out. I'm very happy with these. They are sturdy, but lightweight and I can move them easily to clean the floor. The studs add nice detail and cherry stain is very rich looking. These are of very nice quality! ... show more

Do not buy. My stool came with no hardware. I called Flash Furniture who said I needed to generate an order number and E-mail them a copy of the invoice. I did that, attaching the invoice. Their site blocks attachments. So then I copied and pasted the invoice in the E-mail. Obviously they did not get that E-mail either because I received an E-mail from them that they do not have enough information to process my order to receive the needed hardware. It has been almost a week. My stool sits in the hallway without the hardware to put it together. I won't be ordering from Flash Furniture again. PS: I tried once again, filed another order on their site and copied and pasted my invoice into the comment portion. I received an E-mail from them that I will be notified when the parts are shipped. Maybe soon I will be able to put the stool together! ... show more

Before I actually ordered these, I read the reviews. I came across a few that said the pieces don't fit. Actually, they DO. In assembling, be sure to have a block of flat wood and a hammer on hand. Use the block to keep from damaging the finish as you use the hammer to tap the bracing bars in place. Then tighten everything up. I wish they were made in the USA, but as it is, they are a good buy. I like the looks. And they're comfortable enough. What can you expect from any barstool? The final part of the assembly, securing the crosspieces is not easy, especially if all you have is the little tool they provide. Had to get my son to use his power drill to get it right.

This was VERY easy to put together, even with my two year old boy standing by trying to grab everything in sight. Very simple instructions and fast assembly, just needed a Phillips screwdriver that wasn't included. We bought two stools and each came in great condition, packaged very well for safe shipping. They look as nice as in the picture, I'm very happy with how they look at our kitchen counter. The seat cushion is a bit stiff but definitely nicer than sitting directly on wood and feels like it'll break in. Very happy overall, no complaints so far! ... show more

Bought 3 total. All came well packaged and in good condition. Easy to assemble but will take a little while. No issues with them so far and they are comfortable. They are 26 inches high instead of the standard 24 or 29 which is exactly what I needed.
