Just installed this in my 2024 MDX Type-S, plenty of install videos on YouTube so it’s relatively easy. The existing plugs are a little quirky to plug into the camera but still easier than having to run a wire and plug into a cigarette lighter plug. I purchased the front camera in 4K. Great picture and easy to connect to. Make sure you read the instructions from the seller when they message you through Amazon. Installed on my ‘23 MDX Type S Advance. Easy to set up, and it works as expected. On day two so far, no issues. CarPlay functions normally while the camera records. To view footage, you can use the app (which disables CarPlay temporarily) or check the SD card on a PC. I set up the app and settings on day one and haven’t used it since. The front camera installed behind the rear view mirror replaced the original Acura plastic cover, no wires are visible. The video quality is superb. The only negative is the fact that you can't use the app at the same time that you enable the cellular device because both use the WiFi connection, however the cameras will record when the car is running and I don't want or need to view the videos while I drive. ... show more
