I didn't see any instructions from the manufacturer detailing rear install so this is how I did it on my F85 (X5M). Took me about 60 minutes which was mostly spent on wire management. 6 Month Update: Camera continues to work as expected. Used it a handful of times and it was recording each time. I bought the front and rear kit and paid $249.99. Delivery time 7 to 9 days arrived 1 month super late. It came with loose and open pieces. Poor quality product. I took it to an installer and spent $170 on installation. The camera is rubbish. Bad visualization. There's a camera on a Dodge that I only spent $130 on and the image quality is infinitely superior to that rubbish camera. Disconnects all the time. You have to keep connecting to your phone all the time. When you use the FTICAM LIXO app you will not be able to use your cell phone's 5g. REALLY A GARBAGE, A DEPLORABLE, EXECRABLE PRODUCT AND WORTHY OF EXCLUSION. I'M SORRY I CAN'T RATE IT LOWER, BECAUSE AMAZON DOESN'T ALLOW IT. PRODUCT NOTE: ULTRA MEGA BLASTER SIGMA NEGATIVE. 2014 328i wagon here. After relocating to a different state and seeing questionable driving skills day after day, I knew I needed a dashcam. I opted for the Fitcamx front and rear version. Installation was pretty quick and easy. Running the rear camera cable took the most time. The front camera completely integrates into the ConnectedDrive location. The housing it comes with is a bit cheaper feeling plastic than OEM but unless you're fondling it constantly I'm sure you won't notice. Overall video appears very clear but you need to be pretty close to perfectly capture license plates since zooming in blurs it quickly. In order to connect to view/download videos I must disconnect my Bluetooth then connect through Wifi, pretty simple(note I have an aftermarket Android Auto screen). The unit records in one minute files and it probably takes under a minute for one 4k video to download to my phone. You can also just put the microSD card in your computer and pull them that way. Since installing I've caught two accidents on camera (one of which I provided video to the police), a highway rabbit who unfortunately met my bumper, drywall flying off a truck on the highway, and several close calls. ... show more

The camera is a low quality resolution, to be able to connect you need to have a direct connection to the camera to be able to used the app. Don’t waste your money. Be aware of the seller.
