I purchased this set of 2 to replace garden shears that wore out (they were not fiskars and the blades dulled after one season). Fiskars does an awesome job of producing a product that is durable and easy to use. I'm not sure how long the blades will last, but they work incredibly well when new. The grip is not as fancy as other models by fiskars, but they are comfortable and the grip is well designed ergonomically. Yes, I'd buy them again. This was primarily a replacement purchase for prior Fiskars shears. Bought these since familiar with them and did not want to pay more for unknown, more expensive choices. Having said that I emphasize 'satisfactory' shears; not great. When new they generally work well for a time, then show their wear. One of these is already squeaking and binding when engaging for use. Some shears have worn better than others with either the sharpness or lock becoming suspect first. ... show more

They are sharp easy to use and long lasting. The lock is the only problem, very minor, though. A little bit touch to lock and unlock. What more can one say about garden clippers? Oh yes, I've had other brands that were harder to use felt cheap and didn't cut very well.

$36 for two cheap-o trimmers that a dollar-type store would not stock. I am sorry Fiskars took a bath on electric vehicles a few years back but that is hardly any reason to rip us off now. Avoid these pruners.
