The Dewalt cordless electric pruner turns hand-pruning into a chore-no-more! The cutting action is fast and efficient; be sure you're aware of the location of all your fingers so you don't risk an accident. I love the vertical "frame" this pruner has--I hold onto it with my spare hand whenever I'm cutting in a tricky location in a shrub or when my footing is a little unsteady. In fact, the frame was a main reason I chose the Dewalt pruner rather than another company's model. The cordless pruner is very much less stressful on my arthritic hands since I no longer have to manually generate cutting power! I can use this tool with little effort. Able to cut one inch branches with a little work but anything less than an inch it cuts perfectly. I could cut for several hours if only someone would pick up the branches I drop on the ground for me.

It's light and quick, not wrestling the bigger branches with pruners. Does not seem to bother my arthritis so far. Made quick work on a Rose of Sharon bush. Wife likes it too.

    • Easy to use, quick, clean cuts, beats loppers and hand shears.

Beats hand shears by a long way and will cut about anything a lopper will cut. If it won’t cut clear through with the first cut, you can just circle around the limb making a few more cuts until you have cut clear through. Very powerful. Keep other hand clear at all times.
