Ditto on the washer reservoir. Just shorten the upper tabs 1/2 inch on top and cut the width 1/2 inch up at the bottom of the tabs so you can slide it in. I reused my old bushings because they tightened up without squeezing the plastic mount so the radiator is free to expand. The new bushings did not allow that expansion. Radiator seems to be a solid unit overall. My unit came with a broken mount which holds the rubber bushing right by the filler neck. Styrofoam blocks were cracked there indicating the box was dropped on it's corner although the cardboard box showed no evidence of crushed corner. It did show that the box was laid on it's side and other items stacked on top. Thankfully the fins were not crushed. It's a wonder anything makes it through UPS in one piece. There doesn't seem to be any logic to Amazon packaging either. My indestructible radiator hoses were packed all around with tons of bubble wrap yet a hard drive is placed on the bottom of the box with not even enough bubble wrap to prevent it rattling around.     • Good radiator with a fit issue.
The radiator works fine and fits OK. There were a couple of issues: 1. There was some very small pieces of aluminum inside the radiator, probably left over from manufacturing. I blew it out with a shop vac and compressed air, but still saw some in the coolant after installation. 2. A bigger problem is that the fitting for the upper radiator hose is about 1 inch longer than the factory radiator, and interfered with installation of the windshield washer reservoir. The reservoir must be removed to access the fan shroud bolts, and reinstalling it was the problem. The plastic mounting tabs for the reservoir had to be bent rather severely, and on an older truck or one with more miles, might be more brittle and break. Before you buy this radiator, look at your truck and imagine the upper hose fitting one inch longer. See if it would be a problem for you. ... show more

    • fitment just a bit off
The radiator is a nice looking piece for the money. The only issue I had was it took a fair amount of force to get the bottom posts and the supplied rubber bumpers to seat properly on the cross frame. The distance between the two bottom posts of the radiator was about 1/4" wider than the distance between the corresponding holes in the cross frame. The radiator fit. The inlet is longer and it was a PITA getting the washer reservoir back on. The other issue was that the core was soldered into the upper plate with it being misaligned, poor attention to detail. Third issue was that the packaging sucked and the core was bent in shipment. I didn't want to fool with returning it, so installed it hoping it didn't leak. It didn't, but had to work at it to get the upper mounting bolts in. In retrospect, probably should have returned it for another but it is in the truck and working ok. ... show more

    • It will work
The ratiator seems pretty good. It didn't fit perfect when i installed it. I had to pry and push to get the mounting bolts to start when i bolted it to the frame of the truck. It was a little thinner than the origional radiator in the pickup but the ad says it will meet or exceed the origional quality of the old ratiator. So far so good ... show more

    • Fit for the model with little modifications.
Just like some one else said the out let flange is longer than the stock. And the windshield washer resevoir would not snap in. I just drilled some holes in the plastic and use zip ties to secure it. But I can't complain to much for getting it one third the listing price.

This bolted straight into my 2001 Dodge 2500 diesel. I had none of the fitment issues that others have complained about. I didn't have to trim anything for the washer reservoir or coolant tank to fit. All of a 45 minute job. Radiator works so well that I will have to get a higher temp thermostat so I can get the engine over 150 degrees. And that's driving in 100 degree Texas heat. ... show more

    • Well made and fit beautifully
Needed to replace both my radiator and my A/C condenser after a minor accident. Ordered both parts and had them shipped directly to the body shop. Not only did I save several hundred dollars from what the shop could get, these parts dropped in perfectly and have performed flawlessly for the 2+ months I've been running them so far.
