So far everything is great EXCEPT the locking mechanism. It is made of flimsy plastic that I am sure will break it no time. I am hopefull it won't, so will keep using to find out. The hand clipper is comfortable in my hand. Using it to cut back a large fern was difficult. It would only cut a couple stems at a time. I think the problem is that the bottom blade is actually an open channel that the top blade forces the stems into and cuts when the top blade actually hits the bottom of the channel. It took a lot more effort to cut and it was slow work. Wished I had not used them so I could have returned them. Not a good purchase. ... show more
