Tank is nice, it’s nice and clear and the filter works pretty decent and the lights are nice and bright. Colors are good as well. But.. after the first day the essential oil sprayer quit working and I started to notice the led number panel is starting to glitch… At first it just quickly flashed to unknown numbers. Now it’s doing it more frequently and got to the point it just stayed on some other numbers or code or something until I moved the lid. It’s pretty annoying that it does that and the oil sprayer doesn’t work after the first night. I can work around that of course but I bought the tank brand new.. all the features should work properly and not be glitching out. I bought a thermometer just incase it completely stops working. The filter seems to be fine and the lights that shine in the tank. I’ll have to take a photo next time the panel locks on whatever unknown Numbers it displays and the glitching it does and post it. Edit: changing review to five stars, issues I had with tank was not a deal breaker for me just more of a annoyance that could be worked around but URUQ is sending a tank replacement which is above and beyond customer service. I can easily say that the tank is worth every penny, the glass and filter alone is amazing in itself and doing water changes with the tube that it comes with that attaches to the filter is awesome and easy. I did not even reach out to them, just left a honest review and they went above any expectations I had and reached out to me to make it right. Amazing company.

Absolutely garbage. First, essential oils are harmful for fish...didnt know that till it was to late! The diffuser does not work at all and leaks into the water killing your fish/snails within 24 hours. Secondly, the pump stopped working in less than 48 hours of operation. Thirdly, when taking lid off to figure out pump situation the lid broke in the corner due to cheap plastic brackets holding it on. Its a wonderful idea and cute when its working... key word WHEN!

To start off, this tank was a graduation gift to me and was purchased back in March 2025. The tank was easy to assemble, great quality, a nice size and isn’t loud! It was working well and did a great job up until around a week ago in which the pump stopped working. We are looking into about 10 months later. I tried to fix it myself but it didn’t seem to work. So I reached out to the company to see if there was a way to troubleshoot the pump. Absolutely amazing customer service!! They got back to me with solutions within less than 24 hours! Adore this company sm!!

Update: Company reached out and corrected my problem. Have changed my rating to 5 stars. Purchased unit about a year ago. Had the pump go bad within a couple of months, which was replaced, now the display is starting to be going. Some of the led's are dim, while others are bright.

Beautiful aquarium and easy to set up. Unfortunately the pump/filter stopped working within 2 months. Water becomes cloudy within a couple days due to this issue.

I’ve had this tank for over a month now and have it planted and fully cycled along with my male betta fish and two snails. But tonight, I came home to my mother explaining to me that the oxygen tube was dripping out water and had drained over a gallon of water out of my tank and had spilled all over my bedroom and had soaked a lot of my items. My fish barely had any room to swim and the many plants I have in there were mostly uprooted and disturbed. It completely messed up all my aquascaping that I had originally planned out for over two months. Later in the night, I heard a pattering sound and water was draining from that oxygen air tube yet again. But this isn’t the only issue I have with the tank. The filter that’s included with it is cheap and gets clogged like every day, and the sensor that measures the water temp is always a bit off. Now, I’ve turned off the filter and I’m in need of a quick tank replacement since this one has not treated me well. It was always supposed to be a temporary home until I could afford a larger tank and better quality equipment, but now I’m going to have to rush to be able to get my fish and snails something at least a little bit better.

This is a nice little tank, perfect for anyone looking to dip their feet into owning fish for the first time. The tank has some serious manufacturing or design flaws in that many people, including myself, experienced various mechanical issues with the pump or display within a few weeks. That being said, the Uruq customer service is excellent and they will replace any faulty components pretty quickly. If it weren't for these chronic mechanical issues I would give this tank5 stars as it's really a great deal and does everything you need it to and more. One minor issue I'd like to see remedied is that the buttons make a very loud beep with each press. It would be nice if the volume were either adjustable or could simply be toggled off.
