We saw this on a commercial and was so excited to use it but we didn't stand a chance with it. It doesn't break the wood and it spins the wood around and can break your wrist. We tried it on all types of wood and it never split the wood. The last time we tried it the wood spun around and hit my leg . That was it for us. We tried all different ways and it never worked. My dislike was it got stuck all the time i tried to rip the wood. Would not buy its a dud hope people really read reviews like this. Should have sent it back when i had the chance. To much hype on this item. I'm giving it a star cause it won't let me submit without a bad rating.
