Overall, works pretty well and easy to use. Build quality feels a little cheap, but it's a pretty inexpensive lock for the features you get. My ONLY real gripe - the keypad is so large that it will not fit on a door with 5-1/2" spacing to the deadbolt above. Depending on the deadbolt, it would probably work with 6" spacing. Good thing I was putting it on a door to the garage where I don't use a deadbolt anyway (had to seal up the hole). ... show more

I purchased this lock for a rental condo in another country. They are fantastic! The work great, easy to operate, easy installation, and wonderful for control from another location. These are great product to use in any application. As a further note, the customer service I have received from Nancy at Hornbill is incredibly good. She has been quick to offer suggestions and answers to my questions. That is really important to me since the lock is located in a different country from my location. She has kept in touch with me and also went above and beyond by taking the initiative- after my installation - contacting me to make sure that all was working properly, which it has.     • Easy to install, works well, many options
I like that this was easier to install than I anticipated. It was pretty simple to program as well and the options on how it can be unlocked are great! Key, fingerprint, code, app. All great options! It’s sturdy and seems well made. I have used it for a couple weeks now with no issues at all.

    • WiFi hard to set up in app
Lock is ok, action isn’t as smooth as previous. My problem is I can’t get the app set up on WiFi; my WiFi comes up, put in password and it asks gateway name (what’s that?). I sent email to app support, 3 days no response, if can’t get to connect I’m returning.

This lock is great. The install is just a easy as a standard everyday lock and syncing it with the app is easy as well. The app is very user-friendly and everyone was able to learn how to use the lock in a matter of minutes. Highly recommend if you are in the market for a smart lock.

    • Instructions are abysmal, lock security is so-so
The manual doesn't even show how to reverse the handle, you have to look up and watch a F-ing YouTube video just to find out that you flip the handle. (Figured that was the issue but didn't want to break anything. Nobody needs that, put ALL the info in the manual, ALL of it, nobody wants to waste their time searching through a video to wait for some long winded fool to maybe tell you what you need to find out. As for security, the lock isn't much better than a cheap Wal Mart lock, less than 2 min with a plain ole pick and rake I was able to get the lock open. ... show more
