The media could not be loaded. We tried this fingerprint knob and it works great! I can add/delete as many fingers as I want and add/delete as many people as I need. Perfect for keeping the rooms secure. The app is super easy to work and set up. You can also unlock it directly from the app. The fingerprint is sensitive and really works. The door knob fit perfectly it’s light weight and made of good quality. It has a key too, so if the battery dies you can unlock it still. And the battery lasts for a year before you need to charge it. Overall, it is exactly what we wanted. Great for the attic/basement door.

I wasn't expecting much but this door lock has impressed me. I've had it for about a two months so this is a fair assessment. Installation was easy, decent instructions, not the best but decent. I charged it up and installed it the next day. It went into my existing door fine and fit really well. There was one part when putting the inside knob on, it has to catch in a slot to hold it securely. I missed it the first but then saw how it worked. Once that was set, I started the app and entered fingerprints. The app is a little quirky but it works. I entered several fingers so there are options and they were accepted without an issue. I tested it several times before closing the door and they unlocked it about 9 out of 10 times. Once you learn exactly how to press your thumb/finger on the reader, you will rarely get failures. I tested it at least 50 times the first day and it went well. Over the past few months, it works very well and I still have failures sometimes but it's rare. And the battery life...I haven't charged it since the first time and it's still going strong. Overall, I'm very happy with it. My office is secure without me thinking about it. It feels sturdy and not like a cheap pile of metal. Overall, I would buy it again without question.

Bought two of these to force the kids to stop using my bedroom as a hallway. Super easy to program and works with the Smart Life app, which a number of my other IoT devices use. Plus, it connects to the phone via Bluetooth and not Wifi. Battery life seems great as the app still says both are full after 3 months. Finally, the switch on the back makes it easy to completely unlock when you don't need the privacy. Here's a tip, when you program your fingertip, do it with the door closed so it programs to how you actually hold the door. I first did it open, and then I couldn't get it to recognize my finger due to the weird angle I had initially put on the knob. But with the app it was super easy to reprogram.

Easy to install, reliably recognizes my fingerprint, but fails to engage the mechanism almost half the time. It’ll recognize, turn green, clicks, but doesn’t engage. You wait 5 seconds and try again and it’ll usually work. I’m still glad to not have to fumble for my keys but it’s pretty annoying.

(Save ye self the time of researching for the best price for a product similarity and purchase this one...you'll thank ye self later down the line)Like I said in Tha title this door knob is not only surprising sturdy and tech fancy but it's a no brainer purchase for the price, I can personally vouche for that spent several hours scouring amazon for similarities and everything else is AT MINIMUM $10-$15 more than this product. It's also surprising simple and easy to install and use to the point ye won't need the instructions it's all pretty simplified even for those that wanna be thorough with installations.
