I purchased a used 2018 Jeep Wrangler that had an aftermarket radio installed. Apparently, this caused the factory mic to no longer work. I ordered this mic because of the value and the low profile design. I mounted it on my steering column between the wheel and the gauges. I don't here any annoying echo from my end and people on the other line have said that I sound clear with no crackling or distracting noises. With saying that, this is installed on a Jeep Wrangler. With the top on and the windows up, the mic works great. However, if the windows are lowered and/or the top is off, the mic picks up a lot of wind noise. Maybe if I mounted it in a more remote location, I wouldn't have this issue, but who's to say. Bottom line is, this mic works as intended and I am very happy with it. ... show more

I have an older truck that gets some wind noise from the bad seals, my callers would never know with this thing! Works and looks pretty nice on my steering column. I figured I needed to be up close, but this thing impressed me as I sit back in my seat never having to yell at all.

I like that the sound quality on my calls is crisp and clear with minimal background noise. My old microphone quite working and I like that I can mount this anywhere and not just clip it on the sun visor.

Item arrived missing the double sided sticky tape that fit this specific shape. It also looks as though that tape was used as there is still residue on the item. It was packaged and resold as new. SHAME

Not for aftermarket radio had to buy adapter to make it fit. that was my bad didn't fully read description. Low profile exactly what i was wanting. Overall great product clear sound over road noise.
