UPDATE after 2 years. My wife and I have been using these on an average of 20 miles a day, got caught under the rain, fell a couple of times, wore tires and break pads (which is normal after so many thousands miles), and these two never gave up, I have experience with ebikes and most 48v are problematic with the elctronics, these are 36v and have been working flawlessly, just a small problem with the battery but the seller quickly took care of that, hands down the best brand for budget ebikes, they're still going strong and we're planning to keep them for as long as they keep spinning. Also I'm glad to see a lot of people on VIVI branded bikes on the streets, and they're also very satisfied, good job guys, just a suggestion it will be great to see some bikes with carbon belt drive! Where do I start? Ok, everyone will ask the same, so it will go as far as about 25 miles on spped 1, 18 miles on speed 2 and 12 miles on speed 3, that's the range, and for full speed it can achieve 20mph if you're 170lb. Ok, now about quality... it's a chinese bicycle so there are some corners cut, but less cuts than many around, let's see... Main cut is in labor... All the bolts come loose, and I mean ALL, from rotors to stem, so if you never touched an allen key, it will be a good day torquing bolts. Make yourself a favor and don't cut corners, buy locktite blue, remove bolt by bolt and lock them, or you will start losing pieces. Once all's tight, all's good. Buy cable management hose, half inch wide, and make the wires look arranged like I did. Get yourself a metal crate and attach it with zip ties to the rack, it will make your ride super confortable. Lube everything, even the rims so nothing rusts, because everything will rust, use wd40 gel, it sticks and stays. I hate flats, specially in rear hub bikes, so bought thorn resistant tubes, green slime and mr tuff protectors and installed all, today I changed the rear tire because it was worn out after endless rides. Ok, from my point of view... A foldable bike, with nice working suspension, aluminum frame, 8ah battery, mudguards, rack, quier smooth ride, nice disk brakes, shimano derraileur, solid build. I payed 550 when this just appeared in amazon and for that price I would buy them again without hesitation. One thing I really liked is that it comes decently lubed, even the motor gears. In my experience with ebikes they always come with dried up lube everywhere and moving parts won't last, not the case with these two. Also batteries are easy to find and relatively cheap, so you can easily fit a battery 3 with times more capacity.

The bike isn't really hard to put together. It just takes time. People have said in other reviews you have to tighten every screw, don't let that scare you. There's not really all that many, or at least not as many as I thought there would be. It wasn't hard to double check any kind of work and tighten everything. Watch the videos online. It helps. I suggest after you build the bike to just take a 10-minute ride, you'll figure out the adjustments you need to make after that. In other words, don't go far from home and let yourself have a test run. The electric modes are great and very functional. I love this bike for its folding capability. And as other reviewers have shared, it's heavy. For the price, it's really great. Yes, there's a heavy shipping but then again it's a heavy bike. I can't find anything for under $600 that this thing can do. There's an older model and a newer model, even though they pretty much operate the same, I ordered two bikes and one was the newer version and one was the older version. The newer version has an upgraded control panel and charging system. It also has keys and lock for the battery. Some people have complained about the older versions battery and how it's situated onto the bike, although I haven't found any issues. At the end of the day they're both excellent. Again, it just was a bit of a bummer to see how cool some of the new features are, which are very subtle. Same price for either bike? How can you tell?? In the pictures look for the bike that has an extended light and the battery compartment in the front of the handlebars looks to be more square and tight to the frame. My wife and I both enjoy the bikes. And because they fold these will be super easy to pop in the back of the hybrid SUV.
