There are so many different sizes of chain saws. The size they are labeled is the usable chain on the exposed bar. The real chain, of course, has to go into the body under the safety cap, around the rest of the bar and the drive sprocket. So of course the "4 inch" chain is really something like 14" to 19" (I didn't take time to measure it) wrapped around the bar and sprocket. So, it could be a gamble buying replacement chains. All that said.... these work great for my 4" mini-chainsaw by New Huing, found here on Amazon. And... the big reason to buy these replacement chains: Its easier than trying SHARPEN your old dull chain (that you accidentally destroyed trying to cut some roots in the dirt!). They are CHEAP and come fully sharp. Don't waste time trying to sharpen your old chain, just buy a gaggle of these and replace them when they get dull! ... show more
