I've had this little heater for a while but had to wait for it to get cold in the house before offering an honest review. Nights are now chili and mornings downright cold. Let me just say, that this is the one to get! It is totally worth the money because it is simply amazing. Operation is simple, and the heat that comes from it when it's cranked up to high is like sitting next to a roaring campfire. The sound that it makes is quiet and soothing,.... could very well put you to sleep. You can set the time so that it will go off. * Nice remote comes with it and is very convenient. *Oscillates but I like it blowing directly on me. *The tower design covers a tall swath of area where the heat comes out, so if you're sitting on the sofa and have it directed towards you, the heat will reach everything from your feet to your chest and neck. *The quality is good and it's quite heavy for its size I'm in love with this little heater. You will be too. It's an A+++ Update, October 23, 2022: CAUTION!! Because I wasn't paying attention, I neglected to read the warning that is attached to the cord above the pronged plug, which states that the heater needs to be plugged directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. (could have been mentioned in the manual as well) We had it plugged into a power strip which is a big NO-no and a fire hazard. (our outlet is behind the sofa, inconveniently) Had I not reached down to unplug it and realized how hot the cord was, we could have easily had a fire. It did start to melt the plastic on the power strip. Yikes! Not the heater's fault, but it could have been a disaster and I learned a big lesson.

Reviewing a space heater is not an easy task in the midst of a very hot summer that has me sweltering. While using this space heater, I tried to imagine myself shivering during a cold snap: not an easy thing to do when perspiration is my constant companion and I'm drinking 3 liters of fluids a day in order to prevent myself from being turned into a mountain of beef jerky. The warm airflow is strong. This space heater utilizes 1500W for heating purposes (The amount of energy utilized by a powerful microwave oven) which is efficiently converted to heat as soon as it's switched on. The strength of the warm airflow is sufficiently strong to effectively diffuse warm air within seconds. The wind wheel rotation is 2300RP/Minute, or 38.33 revolutions per second, which in the world of fans strikes me as pretty fast. I think that an average sized room will be comfortably heated within a few minutes. There are several useful features: such as 24 hours auto off and continuous work functions, useful for keeping a car de-frosted during bitterly cold weather. The heater fan oscillates, and the ECO function is similar to the one on an air conditioner and is just as helpful. It adjusts power on-the-fly based on ambient air temperature. There's a fan only function and a memory function as well. The fan is reasonably quiet: it can run unobtrusively in the background, quiet enough to allow for undisturbed sleeping (unless you have rabbit ears). It is equipped with automatic LED display off and mute buttons as well. The heater has overheat and tip-over protection and is made of V0 flame retardant material. There's a child lock as well. Only with continuous winter use can I determine just how robust this heater is, so that will have to wait. Any significant information will be added when appropriate. For right now, this space heater strikes me as well-made, well-designed, feature rich and (most importantly) safe to use. So far I'm quite pleased with its performance.

FHstars' Portable PTC Ceramic Electric Heater with Remote Control is a solid space heater that can cover more than the rated 160 square feet; I've put this in a 400 square foot room with relatively high ceilings and the rotation on this certainly adds to the space it covers. I like the remote and the temperature controls - I suspect the timer means you could probably put this in a detached garage relatively safely for morning starts - along with the peak power versus continuous power, which isn't found on a lot of ceramics. Most importantly this is a massive upgrade over my old radiant electric heater, which I simply can't leave unattended; this has significant safety features, and that's the most important part. This combined with a reasonable price allows it 5 stars.

Oh, my gosh! Winter is coming! We live in an old farmhouse, without insulation! It can get really cold here in the great Pacific Northwet during the winter. This house does have a forced air furnace which is either on or off; no in between. So, we resort to electric heaters. We have a couple of oil heaters that slowly radiate heat for a small space, but we have to put a fan behind them, aiming the heat where we want it to go. Our electrical costs can be quite high during the winter. So, I saw this small ceramic heater with a good fan, AND remote control! Now, I used to think remote control was for lazy buggers; believe me, I have changed my mind and really appreciate not having to get up, walk across the room, and make a change to something! I LOVE remotes! This little heater works very well, and will be important in heating our home this winter. The heat combined with the fan easily warms our living area or a bedroom; I tested it. I honestly expect one of the oil heaters to go to the big electrical depot in the sky this winter, they are sooo old (and not really efficient). I am delighted to have a backup, if needed, and in the meantime, my bedroom will stay toasty! The cost was quite low, and the quality of this little heater is very high. I am delighted to have it, and with the safety features built-in do not worry about an accidental tip-over. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to heat a small room. I really like it, and I love being warm!
