Front corner of the carrier was broken off inside the packaging, but it still corralled my 20lb orange. The roof wire door goes on only one way, and the instructions needed about six or seven more IKEA drawings. Will buy again.

I bought this on sale. All the connections are made of plastic, so it's only as sturdy as the plastic. I'd imagine the plastic can warp over time, so I don't more any the durability. I like how the side door completely comes out and how there's a top cover. I would not use this for a rough trip because it might fall apart. ... show more

The directions are very small and difficult to figure out until you put the top on wrong and there is no way to fix it because it won’t come apart. Zip ties work wonders! The product is the right size for transporting my cats.

This is really easy to assemble and disassemble. So i introduced it gradually to my nervous cat: first just the base with blankets and treats, then adding the top and then the doors. The top door makes it much easier to put him in it. At the vet, it was very easy to unclip the top half to get him out. And the best part about the design is that the front door doesn’t get in the way because it can go on and off without having to take the top and bottom apart. The handle placement does seem like it puts a lot of tension on the top door, but you should really be supporting it from the bottom anyway. ... show more

I got these for my 2 cat’s trip to the vet to get spayed. Had fabric carriers that they’ve destroyed. Couldn’t get the top entry to latch on the first assembly. The second assembly went fine. I would have given five stars but it came with a broken handle. There is no way to attach it to the carrier because one side was broken off. I love the carrier but I have to carry it in my arms.

This is a great little starter crate for training. It’s light, sturdy and easy to clean. It was easy to assemble except I had the top on backward at first and thought mine was defective. Was perfect when I flipped it. The only concern is the way it locks. It’s secure and I like that. But the part that sticks up off the top is a safety hazard. It could cause injury to puppy’s face or eyes if he landed on it while bounding around. I don’t expect our little guy to fit for much more than a couple of weeks so it works great during that time. But I would be careful of that part (we hand something on it and keep a close eye). ... show more
