I haven’t used it to take cat anywhere, and cannot tell how it will hold up, but it looks good for trips to vet and the like. I wanted a crate that would stack with my others and this works fantastic. I also like that the front gate can be opened either way (and even removed easily). The handle is comfortable, though I would hold crate more securely if leaving house with a cat in it. The fasteners being all plastic, I worry a bit about durability. My cat hates it but it’s the only thing that contains him lol he had one of those ones made out of fabric that you zip up at first and he ripped right out of it during a car ride 😭 I had one before this one but the vet recommended one with two entire ways so he can be put in through the top because he is a fighter.. anyway get this one guys ... show more

this was super easy to put together and a good size for my cat, the only bad part was that the color was darker than i expected but that doesn’t affect the item so i still give it a 5 stars

    • The latches on this will break you!

Immediately after ordering this, I tried to cancel it when I read that the top latches were hard to slide. I was too late to cancel, I thought, it can't be that bad: I need it for a kitten rescue spay/neuter trip, it will be fine. I was wrong! Not only are the top latches hard to slide, they are impossible. I broke my nail back to the quick, and my husband, even after I warned him, did the same thing simply trying to close them. Even the end door is practically unopenable, against all reason--this is a solved problem. I have old carriers that still work, the latches never failed. Design is terrible. ... show more

The only difficult part for me was trying to figure out how to make the top entry door to connect. Not sure if this is going to be satisfactory for me. I have two kittens and thought it was going to transport both when going to Vet. I might have to buy another carrier.

Perfect For my cat who is admittedly a couple extra pounds so she fits in the top part perfect and there's no fight because I just pick her up and put her in there with some blankets plenty of room for her a toy and even a dish if you need one.
