I was able to do it by myself. instructions were easy to follow and the box wasn't too heavy to hull into the house myself. Chair is super comfortable and we like that the foot rest is adjustable. The massage feature is just a cushion that vibrates. I didn't think the massage cushion did much for a massage but my 9 year old thinks its the coolest thing and lounges in the chair like he's a king lol ... show more

This is my second such chair. I bought the first one 7 years ago and it's still going strong, although the vinyl is cracked and flaking now. But structurally the chair is still solid. I bought another one like it for my wife, who is now glued into it 10+ hours/day because of her teleworking job. She likes it. it looks exactly like the picture and was pretty straight forward to assemble! but there is some quality issues, after having it for about a month or two i did feel like the chair didn’t feel as sturdy anymore and the arm rests feel a little weak sometimes even tho i’ve always been very gentle with the chair and have made sure all srews were secured, overall it is very comfy and adorable but you get what you pay for and this is a slightly cheaper chair compared to other pink chairs, and that’s seen in the quality of the chair itself. Bought this chair as a replacement for my old one. It’s was used daily and was good for the first week or so. Then each time it was sat on you could hear plastic cracking. Can’t tell what exactly was cracking but the chair leans forward now. For the price I would expect it to last more than 2 months. Don’t waste your money! Edited to add: the hydraulic that moves the chair up and down has also stopped working. And the cracking we have now found was not plastic but whatever the seat base is made out of. It’s very thin, particle board like. At this point would give zero stars if I could. Edit: after some back and forth with the company (explaining what was wrong, sending pictures of the damage etc) they sent us a new chair! This one has been great! We have had it for about a month with zero issues. Between the customer service provided and the new chair itself I would now recommend this chair. ... show more

Chair feels cheap and not sturdy. Wanted to like the chair, but could see how I was going to be disappointed before I took it out of the box. Positives: It is easy to assemble, the instructions are clear. It matches the product description/images. The color is great. The little head pillow is good, it does make the chair more comfortable. The material is soft and feels nice. Negatives: It's not uncomfortable, but it's not comfortable either. It doesn't provide good support, a cushy seat, or feels like it was designed to be sat in for long periods. It feels like someone designed a chair from a picture and called it good, it works as a chair, but it's not the most comfortable thing. The angle of the bottom seat isn't adjustable, and I think it tilts forward too much. Especially when the foot rest is extended, the seat feels like it'll fall forward. The back is adjustable and okay, its a basic design. The little pillow provides no lumbar support, so it feels like more of a flat back. The leg rest does it job, but it shifts forward from under the seat often, which is annoying, and tilts the chair forward when being used. The chair can be adjusted up and down and the back can be adjusted back and forth, but this still leaves the chair in awkward positions to sit in. The cushions feel thin and it's easy to feel the frame through the cushions on the back. The little head pillow is the most comfortable cushion on the whole chair. The arm rests feel like they can be easily broken. I immediately bent one arm rest out of place, the first day I had the chair. The arm rests are not securely attached to the chair frame, which makes them easy to bend away from the chair. Even casually leaning on one arm rest will slowly bend it away from the chair with nothing stopping it. It's difficult to return large items, otherwise I would return it. However, this chair feels like it will last for a little while before breaking and needing to be replaced. ... show more

I ordered the chair in Feb of this year. It is now October. The right arm (not the left) has come lose more than once, been retightened, and then tonight, broke off. I am under the weight limit for the chair, and do not use it roughly, but I do use it daily. I have enjoyed the chair aside from the wobbly arm issue until now, the foot rest and reclining options are amazing. The massaging pillow is more a nice vibration, and the neck pillow CAN annoy my posture sometimes, but overall, it has been, until now, a great chair. The color is great, it's comfy... I'm just sad, because I didn't even get a full year's use out of it, and I also can't figure out how to claim it under the one year warranty listed. *sigh* ... show more
