We just renovated our kitchen and these stools help us modernize the look. The backs are a little lower than I expected, but actually ideal so that when you SWIVEL (I needed this for my legs and ease of getting on and off), the backs fit right under the countertop. Like others have reviewed, you cannot get the foot of the legs to detach from the extension legs. I cannot get them to the appropriate height because of this. Also, pictured, one of the parts popped off and will not pop in.

They are a sturdy chair. Weight limit on them is 300lb. Took me awhile to put together. But over all wasn't difficult. Had problem with back on one chair. Emailed chair company. The media could not be loaded. These stools are great! Very comfortable, perfect for counter height, the do not hit the counter when turning, they swivel, they are very sturdy (my husband is a big guy), and they match my espresso color cabinets perfectly. They were very easy to assemble in very minimal time. We did have a problem with one of the foot attachments, there were no threads to screw it in. I had put these together late at night so I emailed the company expecting to get a reply the next day or so. Within a few minutes I had a reply with an apology and a promise that replacements would be sent. And within a couple of days it arrived. EXCELLENT customer service!! Bought the 30" set - needed one to be 24" and it said it was adjustable. The plastic end cap is already attached to the end of the pipe that you use for the 30" chair. It's supposed to be removable, but as other reviewers have said, it's a difficult task to remove them. My husband agrees since it took him awhile to remove them. Another issue was the holes to attach the chair back to the seat was slightly misaligned and it took both of us stretching the back to attach it to the seat. Other than that, I do like these chairs since they are comfortable. Ordered a set of the 24" chairs since I needed 3 of those - will see how those backs align to the seat. ... show more
