  • Fence Rescuer: A storm knocked your fence down into your neighbor's yard and you don't want to spend a fortune on labor and materials to rebuild it? No digging or removing old posts just connect the two parts, drive the repair stake into the soil, and tighten the screws. In minutes, your fence is straight and secure. Get great results at a fraction of the cost
  • Triple Rust Protection: Made of heavy-duty carbon steel with a galvanized zinc layer underneath and a protective powder-coated finish on top. Even if the outer paint gets scratched or chipped during rough shipping, the zinc layer still prevents moisture from reaching the steel so no rust, and no frequent replacements
  • Upgraded Expansion Bolt & H-Shaped Support: The fence post stabilizer adopts an H-shaped pile extender design to deliver structural stability. When the high-strength expansion bolt is tightened, the sleeve expands to form a mechanical lock that holds tight even in soft or rotted wood no pulling out, no wobbling. No more leaning fences, no repeated repairs
  • Widely Use: It is well-suited for residential settings like gardens, patios, mailboxes, plant trellises, deck stairs, lamp posts, outdoor seating, small sheds, swing sets, and pergolas, as well as for infrastructure such as road signs, horse fences, and farm boundaries. • Worked well
Worked well to secure my mailbox post. The screws provided are cheap, but you can use better screws. Overall pleased with purchase.

  • Crudely made, low quality manufacture, missing hardware- better available right here on amazon.
I have purchased the same item from another brand here on amazon and reviewed it giving that item 4 stars but in hindsight, perhaps i was too critical on the previous set from the other brand as that was in fact very well made with extra hardware and what not. This set is not finished well at all, has crude edges and places where there is no paint. The paint on this set is mat finish, the ones i purchased earlier were from another brand were a glossy finish. Mat vs glossy itself does not make a difference but this paint finish is crude and perhaps a very thin layer. The other set that i have which had a glossy finish was richly finished in comparison and compared to this, looks very high quality. This is critical as areas without paint will catch rust very quickly which will spread to the rest of the component. This is a crudely manufactured and carelessly packed. The hardware was missing the bolts. Its not a big item but very inconvenient to see items missing thus necessiating an exchange at amazon or a trip to the hardware store. My recommendation is to avoid the fence post repair kit from dhlanroy and get it from another brand. I started out this review giving this item 2 stars but as i go along with various observations, I am thinking perhaps this item deserves no more than one star esp. since i have a similarly priced exact same item from another brand which was much better finished and well presented. Avoid. ... show more

  • It works!
I used this as a temporary fix for a sign post that was rotted off at the base, and for that job it was so so. Mainly because I used it on freestanding post and not for a fence. A fence would give the post support on two sides, and this repair kit would give support to the opposite two sides. Because I used on a freestanding post, it was fairly ridged one way, but not the other. But its only until I get around to making a new post. I did have a couple of problems setting it up. They give you a small wrench and an Allen wrench to hold the nuts and tighten up the screws. The Allen wrench is made out of very soft steel and rounder off on the third bolt. They also do not provide lock washers. You may not think this is a problem, but for me, it was. Normally the ground where this post is can be dug up easily. But it hadn't rained in a while and pounding the stakes into the ground took some pounding. This pounding caused the bolts to loosen up twice. I ended up stopping short of pounding them flush with the ground because if the bolts came loose again, I wouldn't be able to get the wrench in place to tighten the bolts. I'm giving it four stars, because if you are using for a fence repair, and your ground is softer than mine, it should work just fine. Just bring your own Allen Wrench. ... show more

  • A 4TH GRADER WITH A HAMMER COULD INSTALL THIS IN UNDER 10 MIN! WAY BETTER THAN CONCRETE FIXING POSTS
These are one of the best homeowner DIY Hidden Treasures that I have seen in a long time. To fix a mailbox pole or really any kind of post, you normally have to buy at least a bag of concrete or one of those $15 rising foam post setting bags, some gravel & post liner if you want to get fancy, plus a bunch of digging. For pretty much the same cost or less per anchor, you can skip all of that and have your post back to brand new in under 10 min! The steel is super thick and durable. The coating is adhered really well and didn't chip whatsoever. We've had a lot of rain and storms lately, and there is no sign of rusting or any shifting at all. I think a big pro besides how easy and fast it is to use is the fact that it's one less part in the ground that you need to worry about rotting. The assembly and installation is insanely easy and literally anyone past 4th grade could install this lol. A tip that I'm sure a lot of people won't think about is be sure to use a scrap 2x4 or something to lay on it before hammering just so you don't damage the metal and coating. Also be sure to use a level on each side of your post (preferably a post level which you can get for under $5). I feel like that is kind of a no brainer but worth reminding. I got a set of these style anchors about a year ago (different brand) and I can say that this kit included more hardware accessories for the same price. It's good that they included a drill bit, screws, anchors, etc so literally anyone with a drill + hammer & no experience can use it. Overall, the value for the money is great considering it's roughly the same cost per post as you'd pay to fix a post using any other method but with half the amount of work. Let alone if you are the type of person that would normally call a handyman for this kind of thing. You can easily save yourself $100+ in labor costs just by hammering a spike in the ground lol. ... show more

  • Adequate fence post support, but will rust
Your order will come with 2 fence post supports. Each support consists of two metal pieces needing assembly (which is not difficult at all). The manufacturer supplies all needed hardware, tools and simple instructions. You might want to use a drill to facilitate assembly. Each support is pushed into the dirt and the other part of the support (above the ground), is attached to your fence post needing support using the included screws. The metal supports are relatively strong, and of thicker metal. They are finished in a matte black sealant-paint. However, on mine, there are multiple areas that the sealant-paint has chipped off or is scratched off, revealing bright silver metal. Of course, these areas will rust quickly which is obviously not good. The sealant-paint appears to be very thin and not very durable. When attempting to push my supports into the ground, I kept encountering different larger rocks, which prevented the support from going any deeper. When I removed the support to try another area, I noticed the sealant-paint was completely scraped off from brushing against and into pebbles and larger rocks. Since I live on an island, I was expecting to encounter some rocks, but it made installing these supports impossible without digging a hole first which I was trying to avoid in the first place. The chipped and scraped paint also isn't great knowing that rust will take over these supports quickly. Overall these are moderately thick metal, and do offer moderate support to help shore-up a fence post needing reinforcing. However, it must be noted that these will begin immediately rusting due to the poor paint-sealant used. They are reasonably priced and super easy to assemble and install to the fence post. I had difficulty due to the sheer number of rocks encountered in my soil, which is not an issue with the support itself. Hopefully you would not have that issue. For a quick shorter-term fix at a cheaper price, these will do a decent job (for a few years before rusting out). If you are looking for a long-term solution, I suggest looking into a better quality repair kit. ... show more

  • Wind Help
These two stakes come with the hardware, in a box. They look exactly as pictured in the description and are of a heavy enough weight for my project. I would not purchase these for a heavy-duty task. For my project, these worked well. I have a one-section wooden fence part that provides a bit of privacy on one side of my house. It is old, and does not weigh that much. I put these on each side of the outer post. The hardest part, for me, was getting the stake all the way in the ground. After that, it was only a matter of attaching the stake to the post. I used the included screws and my drill to accomplish this. The fence had been wavering in stronger wind, and is now much more stable. I plan on replacing it, at some point, but for now this is a perfect quick fix ... show more
