We’re on a budget right now and have a fence post that needs to be replaced, so I was hoping this would buy us some time without turning into a whole expensive project. For that, this has been a solid fix. What I like is that it feels sturdy. The steel has a good substantial feel to it and does not seem flimsy or like some temporary patch that’s going to twist the first time the wind picks up. Once installed, it gave the post a lot more support and made the whole situation feel much more stable. I also appreciated that this was a practical repair option instead of having to fully dig out and replace the post right away. Sometimes you just need something that works and keeps the fence standing without blowing the whole weekend and budget on one repair. This fit that need well. The included hardware was helpful too. Nice not having to stop mid-project and go hunt down extra pieces. It made the whole thing feel more doable for a home repair and not like one of those jobs that starts simple and then gets annoying in six different ways. This is not magic, and I would not pretend a repair bracket turns a bad post into a brand new one forever. But for reinforcing a leaning or damaged post and getting more life out of it, I think this is a good product. For us, it was a smart money-saving fix.

This SakerNeo No Dig Fence Post Repair Kit was EXACTLY what we needed because the No Dig Fence Post Repair kit uses a screw-fixed post bracket system. After a very rough and windy winter, the ends of one of our wooden fences were tilting. The fix went like this:First , the fence support was screwed to the support base using a hex key. With one person holding the fence in position, the other slammed the robust metal base and post support unit into place. Once the base and support unit was secure, deep into the ground, the fence support was screwed up against the fence post. Bingo! The fence is standing securely! You can do a one-person installation, but a second set of hands is very helpful. The kit includes all mounting hardware needed (screws and nuts) as well as tools: a hex key and a wrench. You’ll need a heavy, short-handled sledgehammer to bang the base into the ground (check out the video) and a portable battery powered screwdriver to set the screws. I really like that this system uses good sized screws (included) instead of nails to attach to the wooden fence because the screws won’t work loose in storms. With a power screwdriver the screws are easier to install than hammering nails at an angle would be. This kit saves money by letting you keep your fence upright and in place for years to come. It’s well worth the price.

I ordered this Fence Post Repair Kit Post Base because I'm about to put up new fencing, and for that I'll need some wood and other things. I wanted this to make it stronger because before I've put it up with something that was put up for me, and it's fallen down several times. So I was looking for something that would make it stronger, and this looks very promising and also very easy to install. I haven't put it up yet, but I tried it out and did a test run, and it worked. It stays put and makes installation very easy, so it's not that complicated. And it's made of very good material. The installation is very easy. Even though I haven't fully installed it yet, I did a test run and it's very easy to put up. However, my ground is hard right now because it still has remnants of snow from a few weeks ago, and since it's still cold, the water seeps in but not all the way through. The material is strong and very durable. The color looks good, and the paint seems fairly resistant, but it's just a matter of time to see how long it lasts. These parts come with everything needed for installation, so we just need better weather. The price is more or less right. Wholesale is always better; the more pieces you buy, the more affordable the price. Anyway, I'm satisfied and now I just have to wait for the installation.

This is a useful gadget and should extend the life of a fence post for several seasons. It is advertised for square fence posts and I used it on the round posts of a post and rail fence. It proved effective for this use. The assembled support is 32 inches long which proved adequate. The metal is heavy duty (.09 inches or about 13 gauge steel). The ground where I live is hard and it proved necessary to pound it n with a hand sledge. I used a piece of wood to protect the steel from the pounding. The holes in the wood I drilled it would fit over the bolts holding the two pieces together. I used longer lag bolts then the kit provided, 2 1/2 inch instead of 1 inch. The bolts were 1/4 inch so I had to drill the holes in the steel slightly larger. The Kit worked well, the post is straight and I was able to put the fallen rails back. It should last several more years until the wood posts completely rot out.
