  • Works like a charm
Style: 2 pcs
Quick and easy repair option for the fence when you are not quite ready to replace it. I initially bought it for the side fence door, as one of the post was starting to give up a bit. But, hubby reminded me that those are set in cement, so it will require for us to dig up the concrete to install. Bummer. But then I remember one of the posts on the side is loose, as it’s right next to my veggie garden and that area gets a lot of run off. Hubby simply staked the bottom piece up using a hammer and secured the top portion to it and the post. All in all, it took may be 10 minutes. Final result was a stable and durable post. The fence post is quite heavy and this aids to the stability of the fence. For this price you get two, so I have a spare for another repair. Great value for me! Most of my back yard has black iron decorations- from light poles to trellises, so it blends in quite nicely while it offers a great functionality! ... show more

  • Easy & Affordable Fence Fix Easy & Affordable Fence Fix
Style: 2 pcs
These post repair anchors are ideal for getting years of additional use out of an aging wood fence. It's the fence posts that fail first with a wood fence. This kit is an affordable, quick, and long lasting solution to that problem. The Saker Neo repair kit comes with pretty much everything you need. The set comes in upper & lower sections. And, installing it couldn't really be easier. You simply bolt the upper & lower sections of the anchor together using the bolts & wrench included with the kit. Drive the anchor into the ground next to the post using a cudgel or a hammer. (While doing that I shielded the anchor with a small piece of wood so as not to scratch or damage the anchor.) Then, you just bolt the upper section of the anchor to the wood post. And, that's it! In just a few minutes and not that much effort you've just fixed the fence. The anchor stake is long enough and strong enough to keep the post stable. The Saker fence post anchor is heavy metal that is coated to prevent rust. These are a great solution and well-worth the cost. ... show more

  • Nice sturdy steel posts anchors Nice sturdy steel posts anchors
Style: 2 pcs
I have not yet installed these, but now may be the time. I've been intimidated because my ground is hard clay, but it's been raining a lot which softens up the ground quite a bit. The fence between my property and the neighbors has been there for a very long time and is definitely listing. It's a long enough fence and a big enough project to replace the support posts, that I think we'd both love to be able to get away with a fix like this. It's probably not the truly sustainable choice in the long run, but it'll at least buy us some time without the fence ending up flattening out their garden some windy day. It'll require that one of us does the installation while the other holds the fence from the downhill side. I really hope this works. The steel is pretty thick and sturdy and with the U shape, there is clearly a lot of strength. It only provides support right at the base, which makes me feel a little insecure, but it will certainly improve the stability a lot compared to where it's at right now with rotted out posts. Installation should be straightforward with two people making it easier than trying to prop up a 6 ft fence while driving in the screws. I appreciate that there is a solution to at least buy us some time. It is a much more attractive solution than using a large prop board on the downhill side. Just a low profile support piece along the bottom. I'll be interested to see if rust ever builds up. For now it is a nice strong black with matching bolts and screws. It seems a great product for the money, and much more economical than hiring someone to install new posts (though certainly not as sturdy) and less labor intensive than doing it myself. The part that goes into the ground is nice and sharp and there are screw holes the whole length of the upper part to secure to the post. My question is, is it better to install them on the downhill side of a listing fence, or the uphill side? Perhaps it doesn't make a difference. Perhaps it's best to stagger them. ... show more

  • Great for reparing a leaning fence post!
Style: 2 pcs
Part of our fence had started to lean after a section broke loose during a windstorm, and I needed a quick way to stabilize it until I could make a permanent repair. These were easy to install and provided enough support to keep the fence upright and secure. What I expected to be a temporary fix actually held up surprisingly well through additional wind and rain while I gathered materials for the full repair. The construction feels sturdy, and they're versatile enough to use for a variety of outdoor projects. I appreciate having items like this on hand because you never know when something around the property is going to need emergency support. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality and durability. They've proven useful for much more than their intended purpose and are definitely something I'll keep around for future projects. ... show more

  • Overall Great Buy - Not that cute
Style: 2 pcs
My side fence is an old wooden thing separating my yard from my neighbors, and it has seen better days. These two fence posts came in a kit with all the screws and everything needed to install them. Note - they are pretty heavy! They have some mass to them to be able to hold up an entire fence, and be prepared to get a kinda chunky package. I would call the pieces themselves extremely sturdy. That said, they're not very cute. They are plain back and not terrible, but they do stick up and out a bit and I don't love the way they look. They also, while fairly easy to use in theory, were not terribly easy to push into my very rocky soil. They say you should be able to stand on it to push them in, but I actually got a giant hammer out to finish getting them into the ground! For around $60 though, way better than having to get a whole new fence panel. I don't love them, but they were definitely worth it. ... show more
