WOW these things are soo fun! We own two and it was/is a hit for Christmas. They’re built pretty sturdy, the lights are bright and the battery lasts about 2hrs of intermittent use. These hoverboards are FAST, and run smoothly. Highly impressed with this brand. I had the chance to use another brand hoverboard and it was junk compared to this My kids and I love using these around our house, however I’m unsure of performance if used outside. PROS: Priced right Well built Easy to use Value for the money Smooth handling Fast Sturdy Quiet CONS: Short battery life 2/3/22: These things are still going strong! Kids lost interest in them, but do use occasionally. Also, if your hoverboard goes out of wack and only wants to spin in circles — level each foot pad (line up the battery indicators in each side) and hold down the power button for 10 seconds, release and you should hear a “single beep”, this will let you know the board is now calibrated and level. I’d still buy again for $80-$100 but to be honest these things get old, definitely some short lived fun though! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been ridding this all weekend and it’s fun gliding around the house. I would suggest using an office chair for balance when you start out. It’ll help you sense the amount of tilt for each movement speed. It took me a few minutes to get used to it. My younger one loves to sit on the seat while I “drive” around the house. Check out my video. Overall no problems with it yet. The front light blinks randomly, not sure if it suppose to signal certain thing. The side where led is bright and colorful. Charging took a few hours. One think to make note is that this is the 6.5” wheel which will trip you if you run over obstacles. I tried to go over a 2” bump and caused me to fall off. But it’s perfect for indoor / flat ground play. ... show more

    • Self-balancing? Tough to mount and Dismount without it shifting

Definitely seems built very sturdy but I have to say all this talk about self-balancing is confusing. Bought this for my six-year-old and we are having a tough time, even me, learning how to mount and Dismount without the unit shooting off either forwards or backwards. The control pad is very sensitive and when you're stepping on or off, the slightest touch and it will shoot in whatever Direction. My seven-year-old had it shoot off forwards out from under him when he was dismounting and fell right on his back side and it compressed his back. It was pretty painful for him. Enough for us to be concerned about back injury for a while. We still have yet to figure out how to mount and Dismount from the unit without it taking off. Having very little included documentation and a poorly written pamphlet is not helpful either. ... show more
