Replaced 3 typical smart plugs with one power strip using less space with same functionality. Space is an important issue. Works as expected except when power is lost (which happens fairly often here), the ports revert to off rather than the state when power was lost. Which means, Alexa must be used to turn them back on. Main issue is that one of the four ports is used to provide power to a cordless phone which is left on constantly. Must remember to use the app to turn power back on to the cordless phone after a power loss. A setting of "always on" would have been nice but am adapting.     • Easy to organize, sturdy, perfect.
There are never enough plugs or usb ports especially when traveling. My husband loved this so much on our last trip it is now in everyday use for him. I got another for travel. Really nice. Recommend.

I got this along with an eero wifi and eero dot. While the strip was easy to activate, it took a few tries to get the eero to cooperate and pair. I think this is more of an eero problem than a problem with the strip. But, if I had gotten a different smart strip, I may not have been able to get it to link at all. ... show more

Works together and independently which is awesome. But I'm not crazy about Felt connection to internet. So no more bulbs or plugs.

Fast easy setup in app. App needs a bit of work (kinda clunky but manageable, easy labeling. Cant differentiate USB's like you can with the plugs (all on or all off).

    • Prevented a small fire
Each individual outlet (and the USB charging ports) will be off by default when this strip loses power. I wish it was "smart" enough to remember individual settings on power loss, but at least all your devices won't be running amok when you aren't home just because the power dipped. So with that in mind, I'd say this smart strip is best suited for a group of simple devices that you want to control remotely but are usually off. For example, I use it for controlling novelty lights, especially during Christmas when I can set a timer for my tree. But if you don't have multiple things to control in the same area, then consider getting a normal power strip with an individual Feit Smart Outlet Plug to control a single device. Plugging normal things into this strip that you want on 24/7 is just a waste of money and a potential headache after a power loss. In terms of surge and GFCI protection, I accidentally tested this feature and it works great. I had an old light with a frayed cord that was shorted out, and this power strip detected it and turned off... twice, because the first time I thought the power strip had died and tried turning it on again. Nope! It was doing its job perfectly to prevent a small electrical fire or electrocution event. It definitely gets five stars in my book after that. ... show more

Had one a few years ago but lost in a move. Easy to pair/find on the app. Easy to name everything and turn everything on/off remotely or set on schedules. Highly highly recommend for anyone looking for smart and remote control of electrical devices.

I have several Feit smart plugs and every one of them have been difficult to set up. If you keep trying over and over again it will eventually work though. This smart power strip is what I expected so. Each outlet is individually controllable from the app or from alexa. And the USB group can also be turned on and off remotely. ... show more
