This is such a great (and necessary) item for couples! When the going gets hot, things can get messy. This blanket makes sure the mess stays put & cleanup is a breeze! It’s easy to wash and can hold a large amount of liquid. It’s very soft, so you’ll both be comfortable. Traction isn’t a problem. It fits nicely in any bed (we have a king). It looks nice, but this isn’t exactly a blanket that’s going to be a permanent fixture. It’s a great value for the price! My wife and I would both have to give it 2 thumbs up (& other things). My partner and I needed something that would prevent liquids (lol) and coconut oil from getting on our mattress/bedspread/sheets and this does a great job. The mat covers the important part of our king size bed, though it's NOT a king size mat (look at the dimensions so you're not disappointed as some are in these reviews). On two sides, you can tuck the mat to go under the bed so it stays in place. It's super soft on the important side and a plastic material on the bed side to trap fluids so they don't seep onto your sleeping area. I put it in the washer/dryer when it first arrived and looked great and have used it a couple more times (and washed/dried in between) and so far it's held up. The price is steep so I hope it lasts and I'll update in the weeks/months to follow. But worth it so far!

I've purchased this product twice now. The first one worked great. When it came time to replace it due to a tragic dryer incident, the new one did not hold up at all. It's only ever been air dryer after washing per the instructions and the bed was soaked. I don't know if they were manufactured in different factories or this one was just a fluke, but I'd expect more consistency at this price point.
