I bought this punching bag as my very first punching bag, and I bought it because it did not have to be hung from the ceiling. It was like $180 or so with shipping and everything and I do not think it’s worth that. I know that other punching bags are much more expensive, but this one started to expel stuffing and pieces of black fabric from the base of the punching bag. You have to use a ton of sand and not water if you want it to not fall over. The suction cups on the bottom do not work very well. The spring is decent. The material of the punching bag is all right but it does leave an impression on where you punch. The bolts keep falling off the base when I punch it. I have only had it for 6 months. I would only recommend this for someone who is not that into boxing. It’s definitely not something for long-term use. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Items arrived earlier than expected. The punching bag was relatively easy to assemble however it was a bit time consuming. It took me about an hour and a half to set everything up primarily due to putting 180 pounds of sand in the base. Pro Tip: Use a funnel if you are using sand to fill the base as the hole you put the sand/water in is a little small. Other than that, the punching bag itself is good quality especially for the price, and it only gets wobbly when throwing hard punches. ... show more

This boxing bag works great for the most part. But the faults are probably consumer error because I have only used this without filling the base. I just let it hit the wall and bounce back. I plan to add sand but until then that's what I've been doing and it works great. Main issue was with the suction cups at the bottom. They came low quality and were bent and distorted out of the box.
