    • Well made, but heavy. Confounding to operate.

In general I think the ladder is well-made. My issues with it is trying to operate it. You must allow for about 10 minutes to set up, and another 15 minutes to collapse it. You have to be able to press buttons on multiple sides of the ladder simultaneously to collapse the ladder. Or you have to go back and forth and back and forth. So it is clumsy in that regard. I wish they would actually post a video hear of somebody showing how to properly open and collapse the ladder as that would be helpful, and in which case I'd probably give it up higher rating. But I think I understand their instructions. Also, it is quite heavy. So I would not recommend this for older persons. Notably the heavyweight-ness of it is probably good from the perspective of it's strength and stability. But for example, I have an 28' aluminum extension ladder...this ladder weighs about twice what that one does. If heavy ='d stability, maybe that would be good, but it does not feel stable when you are on it, and each of the rungs is far two narrow (not comfortable to stand on very long). ... show more

Extends out to over 10ft and closes to about 2ft. Great! fits behind the seats in my work van. No more ladder rack and out in the elements. Very sturdy as well. I'm a heavy guy and the ladder doesnt rack. Very strong. Also doesn't pinch my fingers. Recommend Highly!!!
