My mom purchased this ball pit for my daughter for her first birthday and she absolutely loves it! We had been looking at a ton of options that were only around 30-35” in diameter but we were so happy to find a larger size like this! The one thing that’s a little disappointing, which is why I docked one star, is that it doesn’t get perfectly round and there are some thicker edges in some areas. We had it stuffed with pillows and blankets for almost 3 days, but even though it’s kind of a lumpy circle, we still love it! As some other reviews mention, you definitely need more than 500 balls to fill this size, I’d say around 800, but keep in mind it depends on the size of ball you purchase. A lot of balls on Amazon are around 2.15-2.36” diameter and it’ll take a lot more to fill this which is why I think some people say you need 1,000 (they must be buying the smaller sized ones). For reference we purchased 2.75” diameter balls and there’s 300 in the pictures I’ve included which fills it just under halfway. 300 is perfect for right now with my daughter only being 1, but I’ll purchase another 300 as she gets older! ... show more

Wall is weak when pushing inward but stronger pushing outward which is more important. Also shapes right back up even if your kid lays on a side flattening it for a while. We don't use it for balls we use it when our 3 year old snacks in our room so he doesn't get crumbs on the carpet, the liftable bottom is great for easy transportation and dump and the zipper for that piece is great for easy wash. My son loves this ball pit, and we love it too!! Much better than waiting 2 months for a more expensive one to come in! However, I ordered graphite and received this dark gray color. Don’t order if you want color to be exact! Pictures were taken with flash, so it’s a little darker in the room than in these pictures. Our toddlers new favorite place to be! We love the larger size of this ball pit, our 1 yr old has been in it nonstop since we got it. Our 12 year old can sit inside it as well, so that is a bonus. We purchased 800 ball pit balls and it’s half way filled. The cover is more of a thin nylon stretchy material, different than we had thought. I am hoping it will hold up well. Very light gray/greige in color. The foam expanded well after opening, it comes vacuum sealed. I think the sides are cut a little uneven in spots, so it is not exactly round, but not a deal breaker for us! So much fun and will make cold winter days and rainy days inside more fun. The packaging recommends you assemble the ball pit and let the memory foam expand to the right shape over a few days. The base of the pit was fine but the walls were extremely inconsistent in shape. This was a first birthday gift for my son. He has had this for 5 months and it’s ripping along the seam. He doesn’t roughhouse at all in it. He spends his time sorting the balls and throwing them out of the ball pit so I REALLY feel like this shouldn’t have happened.
