I was skeptical on these because they were cheap. I'm a firm believer of "you get what you pay for". BUT these clippers are amazing! They cut through my yorkies hair like a hot knife through butter. I've gotten grooming clippers from Walmart and after a few cuts, they began to suck. This made my life and hers much easier considering she's about 14 years old.

We use these clippers on our golden doodle puppy and they work great. I'm no professional but I am able to use these clippers to keep our pup well groomed. Easy to maneuver since it is cordless and the sound is minimal so it doesn't scare the pup. Love that it comes with different guards, as well. Everything you need!

We own a rough collie (think Lassie) in a tropical climate, so he suffers in the summers when there is no breeze. You shouldn't shave a collie or give them haircuts, but we do shave his stomach to help him feel cooler. Over the years we run through or burnt out many clippers, so when our latest burnt out I ordered these. First of all, it is nice that it is rechargeable, and has a numeric indicator that lets us know approximately how much charge is left. That si squite helpful. The combs were good and useful. The included scissors were pretty junky though. Not pro scissors, so we will use them for soemthing else. The metal comb was useful and worked well. As for the clippers, the reason it is a $30 clipper as opposed to the more expensive clippers is because one of the blades is metal, but the bottom blade appears to be made of a type of white plastic. If you look carefully at a professional clipper, the blades slide over each other and both are usually metal. In this clippers, the top detachable blade is metal, but the bottom blade attached to the clippers is plastic. On first couple uses were okay, the clippers shaved down to the skin well. We just know that at some point the clippers won't trim as well when the plastic wears down. It doesn't seem replaceable either. No matter. If you need a clippers for light occasional use, this one will probably be okay. But if you are looking for something for very heavy use, or frequent use, you might look elsewhere.

I'm going to make a long story short, I got these to replace my personal trimmers. They were cheaper than other similar options that I had seen so I took a chance. I've used these to groom my beard and buzz the hair off the top of my head and I think they work great. They are about as quiet as my old trimmers and do recharge via USB. But if you want other options in your personal hygiene routine, I can't complain about these.

I really went into this with low expectations. I have bought multiple pairs of dog clippers from corded to rechargeable and I feel like you get what you pay for. This is definitely not like the others. This one has an indicator to tell you when it is charged or charging so you don't have to wonder if it is actually charging. They were very quiet and the trimmer itself is light weight enough to hold comfortably. My 2 pound dog barely notices they are on. They trimmed her nicely and they also don't appear that they pull her fur when cutting. She is 15 and is difficult to groom at a groomer so we usually clip her a couple of times a month after her bath. These are definitely worth the money in my book.

Our last dog clippers stopped working so I ordered this to clean my dog up a bit. It’s not as quiet as I was hoping for. It did freak my dog out a bit at first but she came around after a few minutes. I did notice the power drastically reduced once it went from 100% battery to 99% which I thought was strange. And it was on the lowest setting. It still worked and was easy to use. It’s thinner than our last one so that is definitely a pro to this compared to our last one. Overall, it’s not bad.
