The "marble" is gorgeous. Just don't let the picture fool you with small plates. It's a bit small. I have a small space so it worked out it's also rather light weight. I'm going to put something under the legs so the table won't move around so much

I purchased this table about a year ago and it didn’t come with the directions so it wasn’t the easiest to assemble. At first we loved it, but now the “marble” painted top is easily washing away and revealing the wood underneath. For reference I use either Dawn dish soap or mr clean mixed with water to clean the table. The chairs are okay at first but not easy to wash (I have a 2&4 year old and if they drip ketchup on it you’ve got to catch it fast or it will get stuck to it and be extremely hard to get off) they’re also not sturdy anymore (heaviest person to sit on it is 180 lbs) and it seems they will break at any moment/ are wiggly and squeaky. Also do not buy if you have cats they will scratch the chairs material up cause it feels good on their nails ! For the money it wasn’t too bad but definitely only lasts you a year before looking very used. ... show more

    • Table looks decent, some missing parts.

The table looks nice, save one strip that looks like duct tape had been on it amd ripped off taking some of the sheen with it, but it was easy to assemble. The chairs arrived separately, (2 days later) and are missing the ALL pieces/screws to assemble the chairs. We called Amazon about the missing pieces and have not heard back, nor have we heard from the company about the missing parts. The diagram to assemble does not even state what size of screw is needed, so our first attempt at purchasing screws at a hardware store was incorrect. We're having difficulty figuring out the size needed for the chairs. Still no answer or communication from Amazon or the company who sells this set. Perhaps when we finally figure out what's needed, we can assemble and test it all out, but currently, unable to use the table as a dining table, and the chairs are just pieces sitting on the floor. Disappointed in the "service " received thus far with this issue. **update** finally managed to find screws that would fit the chairs so they are assembled now. Not as sturdy as you would be led to believe, and not at all even. Every single chair wobbles on the time floor. As a result, we don't use the table set all that much, especially as the chairs are ok, but not all that comfortable. It does clean easily, but I'm wishing I had just waited a few more months and saved up a bit more money after moving before buying a table. I had really been in need of a dining table after moving across the country bringing almost no furniture with me. It just took some time to figure out a size screw that would work for the chairs as there were ZERO parts for assembly, and we never did hear back from Amazon or the company who sells the item through Amazon about this issue. ... show more

There was a little confusion within the product description, which almost made me choose something else -- I was looking for a smaller table, for a small eat-in kitchen, and this one showed differing lengths, 41" in one part of the text, 48" elsewhere in the same description. Ultimately, I based my choice on one of the pictures, which showed a diagram and measurements with arrows. And I was not disappointed! This set is just the size and look we wanted, sturdy, space-efficient, and attractive. The only part keeping me from giving it 5 stars was the assembly process, which was far from fool-proof. In order to attach the chair seats, you have to drive screws blindly into un-tapped plywood, or whatever material was used under the naugahyde and facing. This involved two people, one to hold the seat in place and the other to drive the screws. Even with low speeds and torque settings, my power driver stripped out the holes on three screws, requiring me to buy a few slightly-oversized screws to finish the job. ... show more

I got this table and it didn’t take more than an hour to put together. It’s more time consuming rather than hard I’m surprised to see negative reviews, and some of you say parts are missing a broken, but mines all came and tact. I think this is an amazing alternative instead of buying a $500. 4 chair set with a table. This is very sturdy and I feel good for any house. ... show more
