  • Great eBike Great eBike
Color: Step-over Orange
I have had this Narrak eBike about 3 weeks. I've got another eBike so I have something to compare this one to. Where to begin? I love this bike. I started out looking for a folding ebike and came across this on Amazon. The reviews on Amazon were excellent and the price is super affordable so I went for it. I had one immediate upgrade I wanted to do and that had to do with the gearing. I was ghost pedaling at PAS 3 and even some in PAS 2. I don't like that "clown pedaling" feeling. So I did some research and ended up getting a 48T front chain ring. The Narrak comes with a 40T front chain ring which is quite small. The rear flywheel is a Shamano 14-28T which I have kept the same. Just going to a larger front ring has made the gearing much nicer. I have no ghost pedaling up to about 18 mph and can pedal in PAS 4 to get that. I thought about upgrading the rear flywheel to an 11-28T which would give me better pedaling at the highest speeds PAS 4-5. However, that would come at a cost of higher gearing in the mid range. And I like my mid range where it is now and love the low range too. I ride in some hilly, mountainous areas and this bike gets me up and down like a pro. I like to pedal myself but will use throttle on challenging areas. I don't know if ebikers realize that when you do some pedaling your battery lasts way longer than if your are at full speed throttle the entire ride. That is not my style and I am getting good mileage on the battery so far. Not sure yet how far I can go but this bike is not that hard to ride at 0 PAS so I feel I could always get home on it. I think it's going to get around 45 miles on a charge if I push it that far. I put some Flat Out in the tires and that's another key I used on my other bike. Gotta have it. Stuff lasts the life of the tire. The ride is very smooth and balanced. The 4x20" tires are great. I have 4x26 on my other bike and like the wide tires. I can ride Narrak with no hands which shows that it is well balanced bike. That's another important thing for me. It makes the ride like a super glide. I also really like the size of this bike. My other bike is really tall. I'm 5'8" and this bike is so easy for me to get on and off. The adjustable seat has springs and works well. And I did fold the bike up and put it in my car and it fit in the back. Pretty cool feature. I also have a rack which is what I use most of the time but it's good to know you can make this bike into small bike. So there you have it. I'm an experienced eBiker, and mountain biker and this bike lets me go where I want to go. Happy trails all! ... show more

  • Love this bike! Great customer service!
Color: Step-over Orange
I ordered two of these, one for me and one for my wife. Both came promptly and in good condition save one issue, the LCD screen on my wife's bike was damaged in transit. I contacted the seller and they immediately sent me a new screen. It was easy to replaceand now I have two perfect bikes. Assembly of the bikes were easy out of the box. The batteries came fully charged and after inflating the tires to the proper pressure we were off. The bike is easy to operate and even though I haven't ridden a bike in over twenty years, this thing is a joy to use. The fat tires make the bike all terrain. This bike feels sturdy! I weigh over 250 lbs and not once have I felt like I'm too much for this bike. The ability to fold this bike makes it easy to transport without the need to fit your car or SUV with a hitch-rack. Beware, this bike is heavy! So even though you can fit it in a trunk, depending on your strength, you may need another person to help you lift it out. All in all, a great bike for the price. Would definitely recommend. ... show more

  • A big guy review
Color: Step-over Orange
As the title suggests I am a large human that occasionally gets mistaken for a shaved bear. A little over 300lbs and 6’5”. I bought this bike because of the excellent reviews on the customer service. The unboxing wasn’t bad and quite easy to put together. The battery was about half charged and I put that on the charger in the same area I put the bike together in. Please for safety keep this in the same room you are in, just in case it decides to have issues. The manual was well written and had decent pictures to help. After the battery Was charged (thankfully with zero issues) I plugged it in and took a 4 mile drive with factory settings. I expected to get about 65-70% of the speeds that a normal sized human could get, and likely nowhere near the top speeds, I was pleasantly surprised to find myself going 23 on flat ground with good acceleration! I have put 14 miles on it in the last 24 hours and battery is sitting about 60%. No hills and a combination of pedal assist and throttle. I did unlock the bike to full potential today and got it to 29mph on flat ground! Took it to my local bike shop (and wow the bike turned some heads!) and added some sealant to the tubes for those inevitable goat heads, and now I have an impressive e-bike that moves a bear sized human around nicely! You will need to make some adjustments to brakes and shifter due to rough riding in a delivery truck but the manual helps a lot with those adjustments. After reading a lot of e-bike reviews I always read about how hard they are to pedal due to the weight. I understand how a tiny person could have issues moving a 60 some pound bike around I found it no different than pedaling my marlin 7. But again my legs are very used to moving a lot of weight around. Everything works so far and I haven’t had any issues in the first 24. I will update if anything changes, as of now worth the money. ... show more

  • NARRAK E-BIKE IS AMAZING
Color: Step-over Orange
The Narrak is a surprisingly high quality and affordable e-bike with a lot of pros, and just three minor cons. PROS: 1. Aluminum frame with good quality welds. 2. Lots of adjustment for both the handlebar and seat height. 3. Solid steel fenders. 4. Rear rack with removable seat cushion good for 55 lb maximum weight. Would work well for carrying a small child, dog, bike bag or even attaching a crate to carry lots of goods or groceries. 5. The black and white LCD display is crisp and clear and easy to read even in bright sunlight. 6. The handlebar controls are all easy to use including the Shimano 7 speed gear shifter, the power/mode selector and the brake levers (which also cut power to the motor). 7. The Shimano derailleur works flawlessly. 8. The kickstand is sturdy and easy - unlike many other unstable kickstands on many regular and e-bikes. 9. Quality pedals that fold flat for saving space when the bike is being stored or moved. Pedaling this E-Bike with no power assist is surprisingly easy! 10. Both the front and rear lights are adequate, and the electric horn is loud enough to get people's attention. 11. The bike is a looker and will draw admiring attention, receiving many smiles and thumbs up. CONS: 1. Like all fat tire e-bikes, this bike is heavy and awkward to both fold and load into a vehicle. It’s a little lighter if you remove the battery which adds 9 lbs to this 63 lb. bike (total with battery 72 lbs.). 2. The front, spring loaded shocks are very rudimentary and provide maybe 1” travel so they don’t help much to make the ride more comfortable, especially off-roading. 3. The cable actuated disc brakes are just adequate and a bit noisy. CONCLUSION: The Narrak E-Bike is a surprisingly high-quality item considering its comparatively low (pre-tariff) price of around $650. It should meet most people's needs for tooling around town on paved roads and bike paths. ... show more

  • Buyer Beware Of Defective Batteries !!! Not worth it.
Color: Step-over Orange
Customers need to be aware that 50% of the batteries they use on these bikes are defective and WILL NOT charge. I unfortunately purchased 2 of these bikes this time last year, May '25. Batteries came fully charged when installed onto the bikes. 1 bikes battery charges fine, but the 2nd bikes battery will not charge. The bike has a whopping grand total of 16 miles on it! I contacted the guy who does their "service and parts" about it, he tried trouble shooting it but was unable to find a fix so he sent me a link to buy a new battery for it. They want $320 + shipping for the battery. I can buy a whole new bike for $400. Buyer beware! ... show more

  • Great bike! Great bike!
Color: Step-over Orange
A five star bike but a four star because of a shipping mishap. Box arrived undamaged but found the landing or parking stand, used to hold bike up while folded, had broken off. I contacted dealer and they responded whithin minutes. I told them the problem but he seemed to not quite understand my explantion. I sent photos per his request but never heard back. Really there was nothing short of sending it back for replacement and it wasn’t a part that could be replaced since it was a part of the frame. It wasn’t worth all the hassel but thought I needed to report it. It didn’t affect bike in appearance or function, just while folded. Being it was of some aluminum alloy I couldn’t weld it back on. I ended up making a leg or stand myself and attached to the bottom of the electrocnic controller housing. This is where it had been attached originally. I made one of thick aluminum plate and works perfectly after bolting it on. The bike itself is awesome, no complaints and my first E-bike. I purchased it to take camping and fits well in my truck folded. It is a little heavy though. Performs well and overall a very good purchase. Color scheme is nice too being a semi flat black with orange rims and accent with big fat tires for all types riding conditions. Overall very satisfied. ... show more

  • Well made bike, not for short people though.

Great bike, well made, solid as a rock, was easy for a guy to assemble. Unfortunatwly it was too big and heavy for me, I am 5'1.

  • Love it! Love it!
Color: Step-over Orange
You can see I added a back rack bag, basket, and some of my own stickers. The red color is beautiful, but found it chipped fairly easy when i removed the wheels to add tire liners for flat prevention. But, as a nice touch they include a small bottle of touch up paint that took care of that. I advise that it is a good idea to watch some YouTube videos on how to change an ebike rear tire as it can be confusing if you don't know how. Also, when removing the rear wheel I took pictures and labeled each bolt, washer, and position as I removed it. It was easy to assembly out of the box with most things already together. Everything has worked perfectly, and I really appreciate that the manual is very helpful even including all the "P" settings to remove the default limit of 22 mph to max. I found it will do the 28 mph as indicated and have hit 32 on a downgrade. I wanted an extra battery as back up or if I want to take a long ride to carry it on the rack. I've only gone a longer ride of 13 miles so far due to the cold weather, but would estimate that around 25 miles on a charge is reasonable using mostly throttle with sime PAS. I contacted Narrak ebike and they were really helpful in getting me the correct battery for this ebike. The batteries on their website are 2 pin batteries, but as you can see in the picture mine takes a 3 pin battery. The people at Narrak had me email them a picture of my bike and battery to insure they sent me the correct battery. I received the correct one. Real nice they provide 4 keys for each battery! So, I'm so pleased with the bike and that you can get parts if you need them. Nice bike and helpful people at Narrak to assist you. Thanks. ... show more
