I've had the bike for about ten months now and put a little over 260 miles on it. It's been a pleasure to ride. I live in a very hilly area which made a traditional bike impossible to ride. It is a large, heavy, sturdy bike. I wouldn't recommend it if you need to carry it up and down stairs. I'm a big guy at 6ft 4, 270lbs and it has plenty of power to get me up hills while peddling vigorously. I only use the motor on steep inclines so the battery lasts around 75-100 miles on a single charge for me. The bike is comfortable at the highest seat setting for me. Seat is nice and cushy and doesn't hurt my butt, even on long rides. I did have to adjust the brakes and shifter cables after receiving the bike. So if you're not comfortable doing this, you may want to take it to a bike shop. If you are going to ride the bike on trails or sandy areas, I'd recommend removing the chain grease that comes from the factory and replace it with a dry grease made for that purpose. After my first ride through some sand, my chain and gears were gummed up with sand. I used some brake cleaner I had lying around to strip the old grease and replaced it with a good coat of Squirt chain lube. Since then, all the sand just falls right off. After about 250 miles, my controlled died on an incline with the E-09 error. I contacted the seller and they immediately sent me a replacement. Swapping the controller was fairly easy, only requiring a Phillips head screw driver and some zip ties. It's basically idiot proof with the four unique connectors only attaching one way. I did notice the controller was not secured in any fashion inside of the black plastic housing on the bottom of the bike. This means it's free to bounce around inside the box. I'm not sure if this was related to mine failing, but if you're so inclined, I'd recommend opening the box (4 screws) and placing some foam around the controller so it doesn't bounce around in there. You could also potentially just strap it down somehow. Overall, great experience with the bike and the seller.

Update: I've had the bike for 6 months The bike arrived in good condition and was well packed. It actually arrived quicker than promised. Assembly took about 45 minutes, and I had no prob-lems with any part of putting it together. The assembly instructions were fairly easy to follow. The bike is much beefier than I realized. The 4" tires are 30" in diameter. It is a big bicycle! I've only put 25 miles on it so far, but I like what I've seen so far. My only complaints so far are the total lack of instructions for the display and how to change certain parameters of operation. For example, how to change from kilometers per hour to miles per hour. I was able to find help on YouTube and Google, but it should be included with the bike. The bike comes programmed with a high speed limit set at 25 mph, and I definitely needed to raise that. The other complaint is the tires. They are noisy at speed on pavement. But that's a reasonable trade off for tread that works well off road and on trails. On steep hills the bike isn't fast, but it is powerful! I weigh 260 pounds and the bike handles it well, and is comfortable to ride. It's too early to say for sure anything about battery life, except that I rode 15 miles and display still showed full charge. I'll update more later. Overall the bike has proven to be much more than I expected. So far, I'm very pleased with my purchase. Update:. After having the bike for over 6 months and putting many miles on it, I must say I am still pleased withy purchase. The bike is very robust, and has performed flawlessly.

This is s very sturdy (heavy) bicycle. I am fairly mechanically capable so putting it together was a snap. Substituted some of my own parts for theirs (notably the machine screw and nut with an added lock washer for attaching the light and fenders - carry a tool set with you with a screwdriver and vise grips if you don't). Electrical components are assembled and ready. Love the keys (wish they were keyed alike for the battery lock and the electrical system but alas, no). POWER!!!! it has. I'm a big guy and this bike flies. As I am a big guy, had to buy a longer seat tube to get more seat height (6'3") or it felt like I was riding a clown bike. Seat tube is 30.4mm diameter. Light is OK bright at night. I'll add more removable/rechargeables to mine. Has a LOUD horn too. Too early to tell how long the battery lasts...I'll update if it fails early so no news is good news. Overall pleased so far with general quality and ease of use. Only 4 stars for simple things that could make this bike the Cadillac of E-bikes (an apt comparison to a luxury, big, heavy, comfortable, quality car for the Tony Soprano in all of us).
