Most importantly: this bag is secure(including the bubble), it is well ventilated, and comfortable for the cat and the wearer. I recommend getting a quality harness and a short leash to go with it so they can explore and be pet with minimal risk. I hear those cheaper versions have instances of the bag failing and cats getting away, so this is worth the extra money to me. My 11 lb male cat, who is a little larger than average cat, fits just fine in the bag. When he lays down he fits just barely(see photo) but can’t quite comfortably lay his head down to sleep. When he is sitting his head doesn’t hit the top, so it’s more than tall enough. There is a rigid bottom with a soft texture that makes sure the sides of the bag don’t squish the cat. It works well. It’s a little bit hard to remove if your cat makes a mess in the bag though. The bubble is not a requirement, there is another honeycomb-like vent that doesn’t protrude from the bag. The side and top vents work very well. The cat won’t overheat or asphyxiate. This can make it so that you have to orient the bag in a certain way or bring a blanket if it is windy. Also don’t use this if it is raining, the cat will get wet of course. My cat didn’t like being walked around or biked around in this bag, likely because of loud sounds outside and being shaken around. That isn’t an issue with this bag in particular, though. It will also probably go away with time. Overall I’m very happy that I got this, I strongly recommend it. I like that my cat gets to go see the world, from a safe comfy place.

I bought this backpack since our kitty had outgrown her other one. It's a good big size. It seems sturdy but we haven't had a chance to test it out. I like that we can have the screen or bubble in the front. I bought the purple and it looks exactly like the pictures. The one con I have found so far is the top has no support to keep it from collapsing as it kitty gets in. When it collapses she if course wants nothing to do with it. It's pretty comfortable to wear. It seems to stay level mostly the little bit I had her in it. I like that the clip across the chest is longer so I can actually use it. It would be nice to have a wait strap also but not a deal breaker. I would honestly give another 1/2 star if it was an option.

We moved from East Coast USA to Europe last year and bought this for our big girl. She was weighing in at a whopping 14 lbs and I was afraid my back would be killing me carrying her around in the airport in this, but we were both fine. She had plenty of room to turn around and whatnot and she liked the little bubble. The kids on the flight with us liked it too, because they could see her but she wasn't scared of them because she knew they couldn't get her. Now we use it for vet visits and she still does fine in it.

The media could not be loaded. The quality of this cat pack is awesome. Norman has tried out over 5 back packs and we both agreed this one is the best. Every detail on it is top quality. Very sturdy and not flimsy at all. He’s very comfy in it and comfortable. It has a lot of great safety features that has been helpful for me. I’m 4’9 85lbs and had no trouble moving around with the back pack or transporting it. I was able to wear the straps comfortably and everything felt weightless. I highly recommend this for your cat and yourself if you both want to be comfortable.

I wanted to love this cat carrier backpack—especially since I chose the “Stray” model because I absolutely adore that game, and it was recommended by my favorite cat expert, Jackson Galaxy. but I’m deeply disappointed by its serious flaws that make it unreliable and unsafe. First, the bubble window attachment pops out far too easily without needing to twist it off, which could lead to accidental openings. Second, the interior clip meant to secure your pet’s harness is flimsy and breaks with minimal force. I experienced this firsthand after taking my cat for a short walk: upon returning home, she got startled by loud construction noise right outside our door and tried to bolt. Even though she was clipped in, the clip snapped immediately, allowing her to escape. I’m grateful this happened indoors rather than during an outdoor adventure, where the consequences could have been much worse. Third, the zipper opening at the top is frustratingly impractical because there’s no way to roll up or secure the material after unzipping it, making it awkward to access or load your cat without the flap getting in the way. When it comes to cat carriers, the top priority should be ensuring your pet’s security and safety, along with basic usability, but this design falls short in those essential areas. I just hope their newer models prioritize cat safety first. I wouldn’t recommend this one without significant improvements. She does look adorable in the photo tho and seemed to enjoy it ❤️

After wrestling the cat into the carrier, he just popped the ring out. we're lucky it happened indoors, but this would have been a disaster on a walk or out in public. Threw it out. Also, when another cat was afraid of being taken out, she cut her face on the interior of the ring.
