Most importantly: this bag is secure(including the bubble), it is well ventilated, and comfortable for the cat and the wearer. I recommend getting a quality harness and a short leash to go with it so they can explore and be pet with minimal risk. I hear those cheaper versions have instances of the bag failing and cats getting away, so this is worth the extra money to me. My 11 lb male cat, who is a little larger than average cat, fits just fine in the bag. When he lays down he fits just barely(see photo) but can’t quite comfortably lay his head down to sleep. When he is sitting his head doesn’t hit the top, so it’s more than tall enough. There is a rigid bottom with a soft texture that makes sure the sides of the bag don’t squish the cat. It works well. It’s a little bit hard to remove if your cat makes a mess in the bag though. The bubble is not a requirement, there is another honeycomb-like vent that doesn’t protrude from the bag. The side and top vents work very well. The cat won’t overheat or asphyxiate. This can make it so that you have to orient the bag in a certain way or bring a blanket if it is windy. Also don’t use this if it is raining, the cat will get wet of course. My cat didn’t like being walked around or biked around in this bag, likely because of loud sounds outside and being shaken around. That isn’t an issue with this bag in particular, though. It will also probably go away with time. Overall I’m very happy that I got this, I strongly recommend it. I like that my cat gets to go see the world, from a safe comfy place.

This is made well! I even have bought the harness for my kitty but she weighs like 18 pounds. The description of this carrier describes being able to carry around a 25 pound cat. My 18 pound cat barely fits in there in fact it’s actually a pretty tight fit. I have no idea how you would shove a 25 pound cat in this bag so just a heads up for anyone who wants to buy this, just know that it’s kind of a tight for a large cat. The harness as well, which is the largest size they have is not large enough to fit around her. I can use the buckles but the velcro can’t attach without restricting her breathing. So for travel cat, please make your items a little bit bigger for the big cats. She’s 18 pounds not 25 pounds so I can’t be the only person with this issue.

The media could not be loaded. The quality of this cat pack is awesome. Norman has tried out over 5 back packs and we both agreed this one is the best. Every detail on it is top quality. Very sturdy and not flimsy at all. He’s very comfy in it and comfortable. It has a lot of great safety features that has been helpful for me. I’m 4’9 85lbs and had no trouble moving around with the back pack or transporting it. I was able to wear the straps comfortably and everything felt weightless. I highly recommend this for your cat and yourself if you both want to be comfortable.

Sadly, a huge disappointment. I was so excited to find a backpack that actually looked like it was designed by a real person instead of copied by a factory with cheap parts. It had great features, looked strong and really was good quality when it arrived. However, the main bubble area just never actually stayed on. No matter how many times I tried to turn it to tighten, never stayed. Unfortunately, the company really missed the mark on the design of that piece. It needed to be attached on the inside or something. Such a shame because obviously, I need to keep my cat IN the backpack. Returned it.

The quality of the backpack seems to be very nice. I swapped out the mesh front for the window well and my cat immediately put her face in it to look around. I ordered the purple one and was quite disappointed to receive a light grey one. I returned it and re-ordered it in hopes of actually getting a purple one. No luck. I still received the grey one. They were mismarked by the company. As purple is my favorite color, and is what I wanted and paid quite a bit for, I am disappointed in the basic quality control by the company. But I didn't have time to keep returning things. I haven't gotten to use it as my older cat isn't interested and we had to sadly let our baby go due to cancer. The next kitten will hopefully love it and go on adventures with us!
