  • Innovative idea, outstanding execution!
Style: Sport
This product is a rarity in that it actually impressed me, both in design and execution, and met or exceeded all of its advertised features. Having been married to a vet tech for 15 years, I have a soft spot for fuzzy critters, especially cats. And too often find kitties abandoned, and living hard on the street. I always carry a big bag of treats in the car, and when I see a kitty out in the world that looks like it hasn't had a good meal in some time, I leave them a large pile of treats (figure, they could use the extra fat and calories in the treats, over regular feed). But lately, I've come across a few kitties that have come up to me and flatly asked for help. But I've had no way to safely transport them. The pivotal moment for me was when I saw a cat walking alongside the highway out in the middle of nowhere, just outside of town. I pulled over to see if it wanted some help but instead it took off into the brush. But it occurred to me, what if it agreed and followed me back into my vehicle? I had no safe way to transport it. Had I just let the fuzzy run around inside my SUV, there's no telling what could have happened. It might have freaked out once we started moving and reacted with violence or panic. It could have wanted to hide somewhere safe and might have picked under my feet by the pedals. Or it could have reacted with fear or car-sickness and gotten sick or urinated on my upolstry. Unlikely, but all possible scenarios. I decided I needed a better option. So I started looking for collapsible carriers and came across this one. I ordered the unit, and so far have been very happy with it. I've been able to transport three cats with it so far (separate incidents, not simultaneous), and it has worked beautifully each time. The staff at the pet hospitals and shelters have all commented on it. And I love that it folds flat when not in use, making it easy to keep in the back of my SUV full time. The latches all seem to be well designed and made. Nothing has failed me yet. It does take a moment to figure out how to use all the various buckles and snaps that hold it together, and it takes paying attention to make sure you deploy and collapse it correctly, but once you get the hang of it it takes no time to do either. I've only transported quite thin/small kitties in it, so no real weight yet. But it feels very solid and strong, so I'm not worried about the day coming when I have to transport a rather ..."rotund" kitty. So, all in all, I can say that this product impressed me, came through on all of its advertising promises, and I'm glad I bought it. I can whole-heartedly recommend this product. ... show more

  • He loves it
Style: A carrier with a waterproof bed
So far so good! Before I even got a chance to finish setting it up, my cat jumped right in. Once it was ready, he didn’t hesitate to make himself comfy and immediately started making biscuits on the mat that came with it. I always had his old carrier out and he never went into it the way he did with this one. This one is super open and airy compared to his old one which was a bit constrained and he didn’t like going into it. Hopefully he’ll still like this one just as much when I ever have to bring him to the vet in it. I love that it’s collapsible for easy storage and travel since I have a pretty small apartment. I will keep it out for a bit so he can get used to it and hoping he can use it as a little place to nap and hang out in. A couple things I will say is that the clasps at the top were a little tricky to align and “click” in. I was nervous about breaking it because the plastic seems a little cheap. BUT it is sturdy as a whole. Once I got them to click, it was perfect. Now we’ll see how long this holds out for. ... show more

  • Made taking two cats to the vet so much easier!
Style: A carrier with a waterproof bed
I have been using square carriers for a long time. And the square carriers have consistently been bulky and difficult to transport multiple cats with. This was one of the first times where I could carry both of my cats in without much hassle. It was also pretty simple and easy to get my cats into the crates. The vet even noted that they were easy to access for the technicians and staff. My cats range from 6-8 pounds and both tried to open the doors and push against the open slots, neither of them were able to jiggle it loose. I would definitely recommend these! The only downsides (so far): When pushing it into my car I accidentally pushed one of the sides and it began to "collapse." However, this was fixable without removing the cat. Additionally, the lil plastic squares on the back scratched my leg while I was trying to get through the front door of the vet. Nothing that couldn't be fixed by rotating the carrier as I carry it. ... show more

  • Best Carrier Ever!
Style: A carrier with a waterproof bed
This carrier is super easy and fast to assemble. Unlike traditional carriers that have small openings, the entire side of this one opens for easy access. It's fully vented for airflow. I bought the large one with bed. It fits even our largest cat (20 lb tank of a good boy). Pictured is our senior kitty, who used to be 18 lbs in his prime, so his frame is about the same size as our mammoth. It actually felt more balanced than traditional carriers, because the weight remains centered. I will be buying more. It's also easy to clean and would be good for small dogs. ... show more

  • Fantastic for scaredy-cats
Style: A carrier with a waterproof bed
I kept seeing these carriers in use by a rescue group I follow on social media. They kept showing street cats stepping into them with little to no fuss, and the concept just made more sense than the traditional cat carriers. About a week after receiving this carrier, I got to take our newest cat to his checkup. He still wasn't happy, but he did seem a lot less traumatized overall, and was no trouble in the car or at the vet. The carrier is sturdy enough, and every hinge is reinforced with metal, so I trust it to hold up. I do leave both carriers out and open all the time, to help get the cats used to them. That way, they don't connect them as readily to going to the vet, and it seems to make them less triggering overall. One cat even sleeps in the larger carrier on a regular basis. My vet recommended it - worth trying if your cats don't like their carrier. ... show more

  • BEST PURCHASE EVER
Style: A carrier with a waterproof bed
1000000% buy this bed, worth every cent!!!! We have a shelter cat that gets extremely scared when he sees a carrier. My partner and I both have experience with cats but could not get our cat in a traditional carrier. Bought this cause I saw a rescue shelter recommended it on tik tok. GAME CHANGER! Just popped my cat right in and shut the door. Easy peasy. He even thrashed around but the cage door held up. He eventually calmed down and relaxed on the waterproof pad/bed. ... show more
