These are extremely lightweight which is a major issue once under water, they seem quality for the money, only used them once so far to wade into our river beside our house to cut some low tree limbs. They do leak like others have mentioned at the seam, so I’ll have to run silicone on them or something along that seam before I use them again! That should do the trick. I would recommend these. These waders were purchased to serve as a quick alternative to my traditional wading boots and chest waders when I don't want to take 10 minutes so suit up. I tested these the other day in near-freezing water, with ice-covered banks. Here's what I like: Normally, I take a size 10 1/2 shoe, so I order the size 11 wader. Fit, especially with two pairs of socks was comfortable. The quality of the wader itself looks good, as the inside seam was covered in no-leak tape. I thought the quality of construction where the wader attaches to the boot was good. However, the best part of these waders appears to be the bottom of the boot as they provided excellent footing when I made my way into the stream traversing many feet of ice. I believe the traction is good, because the boot itself is a little on the softer side, so my feet could actually detect changes in the soil/stream as I walked. I have two observations that might be important. The waders above the boot seem to be almost form-fitting, which might not be comfortable for some. On the plus side, I didn't feel it necessary to clip the waders on to my belt and the waders stayed up while fishing. The way the waders loop over your belt, while it works, it's the best system I've seen as it's just a simple snap. Even though the water was cold, I think my feet were a tad warmer than they were when I'd wear my traditional wading boots and waders. Are they good? Yes. Would I buy them again? Yes. I guess you can't ask any more from a product than that.

If you are looking for a quality, affordable, and reliable product accurate to description then these are the waders for you. I trout fish rocky streams, and wade the relentless Mississippi River and these have stood the test of both. The boots are rugged and fit true to size while the waders themselves are completely waterproof and tough so they won't tear or poke holes when walking through brush and sticks. They are also extremely lightweight, honestly I forget I'm wearing them while I fish! Time and time again I am impressed by TideWe and the products they put out at a great price for the serious angler. I would not hesitate to buy again and probably will to get as gifts for other angler friends!

Have not yet used (fit was spot on) but FOR THE PRICE the material and construction is excellent. I expect there will eventually be damage and wear that will comprise the materiel but I will just patch it....and still be ahead price-wise. Where the leggings on any wader is attached to the rubber boot is the weakest area. Before use i will reinforce the seam using Dap Weldwood Contact Cement and 3M Rubber (waterproof) Tape 2228. Prepare and apply correctly and the results will be very good.

I spent a couple hours in these removing some beaver dams out of the river and they held up perfectly! OK, 2 day shipping..awesome...got them today and promptly headed a a river, small choked up stream...they are light, the walk back was over a mile. I'm 6'2" 185 and they fit fine on my size 12 foot...I plan to put a stiff felt sole inside for a bit more support.No leaks,the material was waterproof as I knelt in the mud drifting nymphs.I would be careful if one needs to go through massive patches of briars. But I am happy with them. I one wanted to carry them in a pack to a remote are, the weigh next to nothing..

Ordered two of the hip boots at two separate dates. They seem to fit well but there is a strong odor coming from them. that dissipates with time. After the first order I wrote customer service and mentioned I didn't get the cell phone waterproof case as advertised. I didn't get a response. I still decided to order another pair for my wife and again...no phone waterproof case. The hangers are poor and will probably damage the kinked rubber unless you keep the loop really loose. The odor and the hangers don't bother me too much but the lack of customer contact/service is a big issue. If I had a problem with these Hip boots I'd be without recourse.

I read some reviews that said to order a size larger than you are used to because the run small. I wear a size 14 and they only go to 14. I took a chance and they fit ok. They do touch a bit on my toe, but there is a lot of room in the shoe for heavy socks or insoles. The main problem I had was that the legs are very tight. I suppose I might have large legs, but they are almost too tight to pull up all the way. They also don't have any insulation at all, which I think is good, because it would make them more comfortable in the summer, but I pulled these on over just my jeans and they didn't fit well. If I wanted more layers to stay a bit warmer when walking through icy water to check my traps, I wouldn't be able to wear them at all. It seems like the better design would be to make the legs excessively large, but that's just me.
