At first I thought the base clips were missing but then I figured out they were being held in place to the mounting ends of the bar. You have to loosen the hex screw to free the clips.

I like these bathroom accessories. The matte gold color looks beautiful, and the solid metal feels very strong, suggesting it will last a long time. The installation is relatively simple. There's a metal piece on the back of each bathroom accessory that detaches. You need to remove a small screw that holds this metal piece, affix the piece to the wall, then attach the accessory and secure it with the screw. This should ensure a strong hold. A minor issue I've encountered is that the holes for the screws are oval rather than round, which allows the screws some movement inside. Due to this, the accessory might gradually slide down under its weight, settling at the upper edge of the oval. Additionally, the horizontal oval allows some lateral movement. It's important to tighten the screws properly and check them occasionally, as they may loosen over time, causing the accessory to wobble. Despite these concerns, the set is of very high quality in terms of appearance and durability. I believe it is a good investment.

Overall, a pretty okay buy. Probably wouldn’t recommend or purchase ever again. Every single one of the robe hooks are unusable as they aren’t level or straight. You can tell they are very crooked just out of the box so I didn’t even bother hanging them up. I attempted to twist one to make it level and it snapped so I just ended up throwing them all away. Both of the hand towel holders were also crooked but they both seemed to be fixed fairly easily with a little twist. The instructions are terrible; the screws and anchors are all trash, I used my own that I had on hand. I expected better quality with paying almost hundred dollars but it is what is.
