I always write something silly but this will be no different. This glue application device changed wood working, forever. The normally meek glue I use has become hyper sticky. The chemical bond is now almost mechanical as the glue dispensed from this magical sorcery has mythical properties now. It flows into shapes I have not before witnessed, spelling out ancient scrawls in sticky yellow chemicals, only to disappear as fast as they arrived as if smeared by the finger of some other-worldly being. The application of the highly viscous wood glue is easier from this than the bottles the factory produces and far more precise. The applicator tubes allow for precise and controlled application. Ever eat at chick filet and wonder why not all fast food restaurants don't use what I call the good ketchup packets. That is how I feel about this bottle. If the worst glue on the market came in this bottle I would buy it, but I do not have to because I have this bottt!e. The bottle my glue came in has crusted over after just a few uses. I've been reusing my titebond bottles for years with gallon jugs, and those have been my glue bottles. Finally the latest titebond bottle tip broke, so I broke down and bought a glu-bot because I didn't really feel like buying another small bottle with all the glue I've already got. I honestly didn't think this thing could possibly be better than the existing glue bottle design that everyone has been using for decades. Boy was I wrong! And I'm happy about that. The silicone cap is nonstick, so it prevents glue from accumulating and being difficult to remove, bottle tip closes with a slide on cap, unlike traditional bottles with a pin in the middle (Where glue gets stuck when you close the lid) and the stem fills from the bottom of the container, so less glue is wasted and you don't have to shake the bottle to get glue out. Also the separate wider filler hole is great and makes for less mess potential when refilling from said titebond gallon jugs. ... show more

This is one of the most useful things in my shop. I hate wrestling with thick wood glue with its messy clogged caps etc. this requires only a gentle squeeze and an even stripe of glue is applied. The only thing I do not like about this product, is the lack of a good way to keep from losing the second dispenser cap. It had a little nub sticking out of the top, but it doesn’t hold the lid on. I took a small travel size shampoo bottle with the same size thread, quickly cut it off and glued it to the top where the nub is. Problem solved! Glue Bot, please consider adding another thread site on the cap. 😊 ... show more

I'd been fighting for years with plastic glue bottles. They're pretty functional, but invariably, you forget to clean the tip and the thing dries clogged, and you poke stuff down it, twist it, or crush it open with a pair of pliers. Or you give up and take the whole top off and dip in a stick to get the glue out. But this thing ... works so well! So simple, so perfectly functional! I love that you squeeze it and the glue moves up the neck, then settles back down when you're done, even if you forget the cap-on-a-string. Which, by the way, this doesn't stick to the glue and works great--plus there's a nipple on the cap to store it out of the way while you're working. Definitely, if you do a lot of working with glue, as I do in my shop, this thing is flat-out awesome. ... show more

Rookie mistake: don’t overfill the bottle. When I first got this, it had no instructions. I had seen people use this bottle before and I’ve heard a couple people rave about it. So, I thought I’d get one. For the first week of using it, it was awful. It leaked all the time. More glue would come out the top than the nozzle. The attachments for the nozzle made things worse and harder. My hands would end up covered in glue. Just as a control, I just used the gallon jug for my glue and had more control than using the glu-bot. Then I had used about half the glue I had put in so the bottle was less than half full and it suddenly became a much better experience. I took off the accessories for the nozzle and nothing got in my way when gluing. It’s been a great experience since. But that first week was not enjoyable. So, learn from me: don’t overfill the bottle. ... show more

I procrastinated buying this dispenser for literally a couple of years. I kept wondering if it was really worth it. But I had a project coming up that was going to require a lot of gluing, so I finally made the purchase. And it is worth every penny! Not only does it allow you to accurately squeeze glue right where you want it, but I don't ever have to pick the dried glue out of the spout when it's been sitting a week or two. The rubber cover keeps it air tight and you don't have to worry about losing it because it's attached to the bottle. I was worried after reading reviews that it was so hard to squeeze glue out of. So after filling it I tried to use it and nothing would come out. I squeezed and squeezed and worried about breaking the seams on the plastic. Then I realized you have to cut the tip of the dispenser. Works like a charm now and the rubber cap prevents any glue from drying and clogging the top. I’m going to get another for my titebond 3. It came with all original packaging and is not a knock off Chinese product. Highly recommend for any woodworker as it allows you to simply grab it and dispense glue in a matter of seconds with no unclogging or chunky glue. ... show more
