I used this in an attempt to overwrap and seal a dripping water leak on an underground 2" PVC joint. The water main on my 66 year-old house sprung leak and it was costing more than $1000 in a higher water bill. I’m sure it would cost $30,000 or more to replace the waterline from the street to the house and we just can’t afford to do that right now. If I tried to repair the line by cutting out a section and adding new pipes in between, I would run the risk of creating more leaks because of all the torquing and vibration on the old rusty pipes. This epoxy wrap solved the problem in under a couple of hours, and it is holding very well. I would highly recommend this for certain situations. ... show more

    • 2nd use on an airsled hose

2nd time using this so I have a better understanding. I bought a used airsled well it had tape so I thought it had a hole unknown to me it was a ripped hose, after 2 modifications to stiffen the broken hose by inserting a hose adapter I also melted the broken hose and then wrapped with the jbweld. If you had a 2nd set of hands it would make this easier if you had to fix two hoses with one kit as I did. I used a knife and cut the wrap so I could do both sides of the repair the problem is I had to change my grip with the gloves so the resin is on the hose.... to me no problem. Like my other repair it worked dry in 15 min let it sit ... show more
