- PACKING INCLUDED : One pair of Garage Door Extension Springs, One pair of Non-Slip Gloves, and Installation Instructions are included in the package, so you can start installing immediately after receiving the product.
- HIGH QUALITY : Made from professional ASTM-A228 spring steel coils that have been heat-treated to ensure they have extremely high durability. The latest electrophoretic coating technology offers excellent corrosion resistance and excellent tensile properties. Salt spray testing lasts up to 300 hours with a minimum of 16,000 cycles (a cycle is 1 open & close of the door). You NEVER need to maintain the spring and keep your hands clean during installation.
- DOUBLE LOOP ENDS : They are more sturdy than open loops, as there are two coils of the spring that connect to the eye-bolt and the pulley. We currently only offer double looped ends as we believe this is the best replacement option available (You can replace any end type with double looped)
- IMPORTANT : KaiMinDogz highly recommend that you replace springs in pairs. Typically both springs are of the same age and wear, since one has broken, typically the second spring will reach the end of its cycle life and also break soon. The newer spring will have more pull than an older spring and this will cause the door to open and close with an unequal amount of pull on both sides and that can cause damage to the door, the garage door opener and is unsafe.

Finally got one on, works perfectly...door opens much quieter...every bit as good as original...I called the door manufacturer Coplay to make sure I had the right color code...don't wait until the old one snaps off the wheel clamp like me...needed wheel and clamp with eyelid too, parts were cheap...all good....

You really need to know what you're doing with these. If you aren't confident and capable, leave it to the professionals. That said, I was able to install both of these on my roll up door and they work flawlessly. Make sure you have the right ones for the weight of your door.

I should have followed the instructions and weighted the garage door before ordering. I ordered the larger springs which did not work. After getting the correct springs based on the weight, the door opens and closes without issue.
