Our Feline Master approves of this water fountain. We have gone through several in the past. Our first, the Catit, the motor broke after a short time and we replaced it, and it broke again. Then we tried a stainless steel one, and after a short time, it was all scratched up, just from washing/cleaning it with our kitchen sponge. This one is doing good. It's plastic, and not scratching. Damn, I was stoned af writing the original complaining review. I started a return refund and started writing product review that it didn’t come with the filter holder.. first time weekly cleaning it and I couldn’t figure out putting it back together why the filter was unstable lol I looked and looked and I thought they forgot to send it… right before submitting my review, I realized there was a weird plastic thing next to my sink and there it was!!! Anyways, we have two tiny kittens my husband rescued at work and the baby girls love this fountain so much and it’s also their night light for them and their mom ( our teen daughter 15yo said she wasn’t planning on being a teen fur mom lol).. ... show more

I used my pet drinking fountain to make a fountain for hummingbirds. In addition to the fountain you need a small clay flower pot and a jumbo straw. I saw it on YouTube and thought I would give it a try. This fountain worked perfect.

This is a very nice water fountain and is very easy to maintain. I have 3 cats and 1 likes to put her paw in the water, so when I just had a water bowl I was constantly having to clean hair or litter from the bowl. This fountain has a pre filter and a carbon filter that traps the hair and litter keeping the water clean. I can quickly remove the hair from the pre filter. The cats really like the water fountain and are drinking more I'm sure. Update. After just 3 months the pump has quit. I've taken 2 stars off for unreliability. Can't return because the return window is only 30 days. Sounds too me like they know it's going to fail. They also have the exact same pump for sale like they know they will fail.
