While it looks nice and works to offer back support, BOTH the material is not heavy enough to keep it from floating, WHEN the suctions cups lose their grip. Mostly, the pad is too light and floats up out of the water. The material is not heavy enough to stay submerged, and the suctions cups are strong enough to keep it from sliding up the bathtub wall. So I don't know what "gorilla grip" their talking about!

My rental has an old bathtub and the end is straight vs a slant like the newer tubs. It’s quite uncomfortable. I was hoping this pillow would offset that straight back if i folded the top over. It didn’t. It’s just straight and uncomfortable with a blow up pillow. Also, this does not have a soft lining on the side your back leans against. My last pillow did so I didn’t even think to check it out.

The suction cups do a good job holding the pad in place but the pads are not very cushy or relaxing. They are quite firm and much smaller then I had hoped for but they do work and seem to be waterproof.

Great bath pillow stayed in place in bath, very comfortable and conformed to bath shape as I have an oval soaking tub. Not worth $54 but when on sale for 24$ DO IT!!!!!!!!!!

My tub has a very steep back and I wasn't sure if this would actually work or not since the angle of the tub itself seemed likely to be the issue, but it's actually pretty effective. I have fibromyalgia and often have a difficult time getting comfortable, but this has helped a lot. Plus, the grandma-pink is nostalgically cute in my powder blue tub.
