My rating is more a 3.5 stars. For a mini projector this is a decent option. My biggest gripe is the noise level of the fan. It’s very noticeable but it can be drowned out if something is playing through connected speakers and you’re not sitting too close to the projector. The picture quality is good but I will note you will need to ticker with the focus so the edges of the screen aren’t blurry. The projector is really only feasible to use at night or in a darkened room. The speaker built into the projector is not great. You can connect a Bluetooth speaker or headphones for better sound. I will say, I noticed that the sound quality (which is typically great from my own speaker and headphones) was not as great when connected to the projector. Not terrible but something to note. I bought a Roku stick, which connects right to the, projector and makes for easy steaming. To connect my MacBook Air to the projector I needed a Thunderbolt to HDMI adaptor. Obviously then, all the controls for streaming will have to be done from the laptop. To connect an iPhone you would need a Lightning to HDMI adaptor or screen mirror off streaming stick/box if you have one. I haven’t tried connecting any gaming console to it yet but it should be pretty straightforward. Overall, it’s a fun purchase with the visual component being up to par for the price. My personal con is the issues with sound quality, but that could just be me. I wouldn’t say this could replace a TV. Lots of wires to manage. I love this projector. Had it for almost a year now and have had no problems with it at all. For best quality intentions it is best for there to be no light and the picture will be perfect. Easy setup, just plug in to power then connect your device and you’re set. The only thing that sucks about this projector is the built in speaker, it is loudish but when you’re trying to see a movie you want more sounds, the great thing is you can connect Bluetooth speakers to it. 10 out of 10. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Great little projector! I've been using it since February because our other on burned out, had lasted years though. But this guy is amazing! I decided to get a better stand, I love the little thing. The accessories are out of this world. The stand has done such a great job, I've decided to upgrade to a professional level one. This way it can get proper ventilation. Awesome features: - auto shutdown - Bluetooth connectivity (Wireless headphones, TV, speakers, and other sound systems wirelessly.) - read the entire manual it serves you well and helps immensely - adjustable tilts, zooms, resolutions, and other amazing settings I recommend playing with settings (after reading manual). This gives better quality sound, picture, and viewing ability. Tech savvy person here... trust me. I program stuff (write code....) so want a good experience, try the above, if you do not like, then not your cup of tea. **** USE an HDMI adapter/cable for better quality picture, and darker room. ... show more

Like others have said, the fan is pretty loud and the speaker is not great, but you can hook up your own speaker via Bluetooth. Also, read the fine print, the Bluetooth is meant to only support speakers and does not support smartphone use which sucks. You can hook up a smartphone via HDMI, but imo this is not that great since phones lose battery life quickly while in use with the projector. Another negative is that the image quality really isn't that great, and you can only adjust the lens so much. It makes it difficult to set up because there is only so much distance you can put between the projector and the surface on which you are projecting. All that being said, if you have all the cables you need, the projector works fine, it's just nothing amazing. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I would recommend getting a Bluetooth speaker for better quality sound. You'll have to mess with the image quality on the settings to make the picture clearer. The projector fans are quite loud themselves, so id recommend getting a Bluetooth speaker or headphones for better experience. (In the video i provided, the image is crooked as i was just messing around with it, it looks good once you settle it properly) ... show more

I liked the fact that the projector was Bluetooth. However the USB function and the SD function would not work. The sound was decent. Update to this review. Someone from the company reached concerning the defective SD slot and USB. Thing to know before purchasing. The USB and SD must be 32gb or less for it to work. Although mine still didn’t work. The representative was very kind in her assuring me they were sorry about the problem and wanted to make it right. They gave me a refund back for half of my purchase which made me happy.
