Makes me mad that I missed the return cutoff date. Buy cheap and get cheap!! I am very pleased with these DVD players now. The company reached out to me and have replaced them at no cost. Wow, where do I start. This is almost a hazard to add to your car, it will cause more headache and distress than anything. It skips, mutes itself, will continually restart a movie, when you’ve had enough and you just try and turn it off, the screen will turn off but the movie sound continues to play and drives you NUTS while trying to drive. It doesn’t matter how many movies you try, it’s most definitely the system. S

Having a dvd player for kids on a long road trip is a great addition, but we’ll look elsewhere. The screens come with a long mounting strap. This worked well around the headrest metal bars of the next row forward from the viewer (Ex: around the driver’s chair headrest supports). Issues: -One of the two players started making buzzing noises / disc vibrations after a few hours of use. -When both screens are matching the same program, if the screen which has the disc turns their volume down to zero it will cause the other player to no longer have audio. This is a design flaw. The volume level of the audio on screen A shouldn’t impact the volume or cause loss of audio on screen B. We attempted to put some content on a SD card so we could avoid the kids trying to unclip dvds from the player’s spindle. I tried several different video formats/encodings/file types and had challenges getting the files to appear in the file list but then when I found the right file types/extensions the files still wouldn’t play. Presumably the files were using unsupported encodings/compressions/etc. I could not locate a list of file types/codex support/etc so low on time we gave up on the SD card content for the trip. Overall, the players were “ok”, but had several short comings.
