I purchased the Ortizan Bluetooth Speakers to use for movie nights on our patio and listening to music both in and outdoors. I've really enjoyed them so far. I have a covered patio on which I hang a screen to watch movies. I have one Bluetooth speaker, but I really wanted two to achieve the "drive-in ambiance" I was seeking. With the help of some carabiners, I hung the speakers on each side of the screen so the sound would project outward. It sounded great! The volume can get quite high without distortion. The quality is more than sufficient for my needs. With them being IPX7, I can leave them out even if we get a light rain without them getting ruined if I don't have time to take them in. I've tested how long the battery lasts with the flashing lights turned on. I've gotten about 15 hours before the very annoying "beeping" or a "cutting out sound" starts. I read about the beeping in other reviews, not only for this one but for other manufacturers as well. I have no idea what is up with that. Why tick off customers with that? I don't know how much juice was left in the battery because I couldn't stand listening to this annoyance for very long. At first, I thought it was notifications from my phone. Sadly, no. I didn't test how long the battery lasts without the lights on, but it would obviously be longer. Getting one speaker connected via Bluetooth was pretty easy. It was getting two of them paired that was an issue. One reviewer mentioned that you need to remember which one you connected via Bluetooth first and always connect that one first to avoid issues. Once I finally remembered that, I haven't had an issue connecting and pairing them since. I selected a bright carabiner color to attach to the speaker that I need to connect to Bluetooth first. Then I turn on the other speaker to pair them. Has worked 100% of the time so far. I even connected the speakers to my projector without a hitch. So that was a bright spot. I've also connected it to my Smart TV without issue. I'm very satisfied thus far with the quality, durability and sound. I would never use the speakers for 15 or even 10 hours straight, so having to charge them in between is no problem to avoid the low battery annoyance. My 3-year-old great-niece enjoyed listening to Disney music while playing in the yard sprinkler! When I took the speakers down, she wanted to help carry one but ended up dropping one on the patio. It still works fine, so I can say it can at least withstand a drop on concrete. If you don't need high-end sound quality, these are great for the price point. I ordered the blue color and love it. I also like the design of it and that it is mostly waterproof. The flashing lights can provide a fun atmosphere especially when used at a party. The kids like it too! ... show more

I used to use a different brand but they are well known for their charging port to fail so I thought I'd try the Ortizan. When it arrived I was truly impressed with the appearance and quality feel of the speaker the instructions are pretty good although they're a little light on the operation of the sound style. It has good clear sound but the volume seems a little low on it I've had this for several months now in fact I have dropped it a few times and it just keeps on going it's an excellent value for the money as far as I'm concerned ... show more

For a portable Bluetooth speaker this is a good buy! I ended up buying a second one for another family member. Has great sound & light features. It’s nice that you don’t have to have the lights on if you don’t want them. Easy to connect & holds charge for a long time. It’s worth the buy!

My husband has a Bluetooth speaker that he loves and it has incredible sound-BUT the cost was about $150. I bought this one because I didn’t want to spend that much and because it had a 5 star rating. It has incredible sound and the price was a fraction of what his cost. Highly recommend this!!!!

These speakers are amazing. Buy two of them so you can do the surround sound. You can always turn the light off unless you listen to it in the shower and you want to dance in the disco. The base on these speakers is just crazy. The lows are super lows. The highs are perfect if you like Brazilian funk. These are the speakers for you 100%. I do not know how long they'll last. Everybody else has been saying 15 hours or 20 hours that might be but I just need them to last for about 4 to 5 hours at a time and they're definitely doing that. And with the 40% off they're like 30 bucks a piece best $60 I've ever spent. Super easy to pair to your phone. Super easy to pair to themselves. The directions are easy. Okay so here's an update. There is no way that these speakers last more than 4 hours. No possible way they last 20 or 15 hours. That is a complete and utter lie but three maybe four hours absolutely. ... show more

The speaker worked as it should up to an hour and half ago. While it was charging, I turned on the power (I usually charge the unit with the power off) and when I unplugged it, the unit shut off. It now only turns on when plugged in and no longer plays with any sound. I’m wondering if the warranty covers this malfunction as it has been less than one year? ... show more
