The fingerprint scanner is quick, but the bar that is the lock has too much wiggle. The price went from 29.99 to 149.99 to 79.99 with a 50% discount within a couple of days. The price fluctuates wildly and too often the deal is not a true deal. You need to wake the keypad by touching it in just the right spot before it "awakens" then touch the code in. For the price I was expecting a knock off, poorly made product. I was surprised when I opened the amazingly well packaged box to find a heavy, well made lock, surprised again when the installation instructions were in good English and easily read, and once installed I found the programing straight forward, pretty simple and easy to do. Now to be fair I have installed more lock systems than the average person, and have a fair amount of experience but compared to some name brand heavy duty commercial electronic locks the setup on this is way simpler and more flexible. The real bonus that isn't mentioned is the RFID tags that came with it (2). I was not expecting them to be in the box, nor was it mentioned in the advertising. So, now the lock takes fingerprints,bluetooth, code, tags and with an optional gateway, WiFi control. My only disappointment is that there was no mention of needing a separate gateway to connect thru WiFi. The TT lock app is very easy to use and is a market standard. Installation was simple and easy. Hard to find any fault with this product, it performs better and is made better than the name brand lock I paid 10x more for on my front door. This lock was better quality, easier to install and has all the same features as the lock I paid 3 TIMES the price. I bought a couple more for family and also showed it to a friend. He went and ordered 3 also.

    • BEWARE! It Stops Working Along With The Key
I was very happy with this purchase for the first month. However, do know that mine stopped working after only a little over 1 month and their app does not respond to inquiries, or diagnostics, nor does their website. Also, if you still decide to give it a go, try the key first to make sure it opens the lock! I did not do the latter, and one day it simple stopped working and the key would not open the lock either. Thankfully I have a side door with a simple key lock and had the key, otherwise I would have needed a locksmith for sure. ... show more

Everything works as advertised, and that's a plus! If your finger is dirty, too rough or wet, though, the fingerprint reader will not recognize it, but that's understandable. Hopefully it'll last.
