The fan came securely packaged and in excellent condition with all required hardware for installation ... plus a couple of extra items in case we were to drop it. The installation instructions were quite clear, except in one place. When installing the LED board, one of the screw holes is round, and two are slots. Put the round one in first or you will have difficulty getting all the holes to line up. My son and I took an hour and fifteen minutes to assemble and mount the fan on a junction box that was already installed and wired in the ceiling. Someone who knew what he was doing and didn't have help probably could do it faster. I received the black model. The fan blades were black on one side and a light wood-grain on the other. We opted to have the wood-grain facing the room, as better suited to our style and mood. The explanation of the buttons on the remote control was sadly lacking. For example, we had to actually try the "natural wind" button to find out that it makes the fan rotate with a variable speed, creating a variable breeze instead of a steady one. Some other buttons that were not clearly explained were "3CCT" - the only explanation was to repeat the name of the button. The explanation for the "K-" and "K+" buttons were "CCT- (warmer)" and "CCT+ (cooler)". That's rather obscure to someone who doesn't realize that a "warmer" color of light is shifted toward red, and a "cooler" color of light is shifted toward blue. It wasn't too difficult to figure out the controls by experimentation, though, so I'm not going to deduct a star for that. Once installed on an eight-foot ceiling, the clearance between the bottom of the light and the floor was seven feet, two inches. The full height of the fan when assembled and mounted is ten inches, making it a true low-profile fan as advertised. At the listed price of $99.99, this 52-inch fan seems to be a good price, comfortably at the low end of the normal price range. The fan looks quite nice and by keeping air moving, should reduce the cost of heating and cooling. The light is quite adequate for a 15x15 room, but in a 20x20 room, you'd want supplemental lighting in the corner.

I suffered an injury to my right arm so my wife chose to install this fan herself rather than having us wait the six or eight weeks for me to recover. I was relegated to the role of general encouragement and tool fetcher. The setup went smoothly with no setbacks which is both a testament to my wife’s tool skills as well as the quality of the instructions and of the fan parts in general. It seemed to me, acting as a spectator, that this manufacturer, unlike so many, took the effort to run through the installation itself ironing out any issues its customers may face doing the same. It’s either that or this is the result of some superior planning. We, working together, have installed four ceiling fans but never had any of them go this smoothly. The fan works perfectly. In our case, the fan installed with perfect blade balance. There’s a balance kit along with instructions if it didn’t. Like so many appliances lately, this device can only be operated through its remote so if it is lost, the fan is useless. I wasn’t able to locate the OEM remote but found some universal ones that may work – at least partly. The LED board has the same disposable aspect to it. Rather than the light source coming from common light bulbs, it is an LED board. Assuming it could be found, needs to be wholly replaced if it fails. I’m making a fuss over this because the fan that this is replacing only lasted a few years before the remote gave out and I couldn’t find a replacement. So we had to replace what was likely a perfectly good fan/light assembly. This did install easily and now in place is ideal. I only hope it outlasts its predecessor.

Nice ceiling fan . This 52 inch ceiling fan works great the light settings are super adjustable and the fan works great for moving the air around in the room . It came with everything needed to install i only needed a drill and about 10 to 15 minutes and it was up and ready to go . The blades seems to be double sided with black on 1 side and brown on the other so you have a couple of options so style. The fan speed is great it has different levels like 6 or 7 and its super quiet . The remote works pretty good can work the fan and light from anywhere in the room .It looks great and works just as good overall I am happy with it and would say its a good buy .

Our ceiling fan stopped working, and we wanted a larger one that was simple and modern. This one had everything we wanted. It comes with a remote, but also has a phone app to control it with and bluetooth. It's a low profile fan, and comes with a dimmable led light. There are also 3 temperatures of light: warm light, neutral light and cool light. It has strong dc motor, and I've never had a fan that's so quiet! The fan blades are double sided so you can choose which color you want to use. It has a high speed motor and has 6 adjustable wind speeds so you can pick anything from a gentle breeze to a powerful wind. It was easy to install which was a plus, and comes with a 5 year warranty which I love. With the quality of the fan and the amazing price for all of the features this fan comes with I think it's a great deal!
