  • Excellent inverted tripod
I purchased the Fanaue HTC-4030CK for several reasons. It's an inverted tripod (easily deploys and stows), relatively light weight (under 5 pounds) and Amazon had it on special for $255 (great price). The tripod has a weight capacity of 40 pounds. It has two twist leg locks per leg (three sections) and has a hook on the apex underside to hang additional weight to further stabilize the tripod or a storage bag if needed. This tripod feels pretty stable. Since the tripod comes with a flat base apex and no ball head, I bought the Anvil-30 ball head which mounts perfectly on the tripod. I can only say good things about this tripod. I would highly recommend this tripod to a friend. ... show more

  • Sturdy low cost option for prs /nrl
For the price it's a 5 out of 5 but obviously not as rigid as top of line rrs or two vets options, but very sturdy for shooting sitting kneeling and standing even with a heavy 20 lb comp rig. Screws that attach legs to head platform need tightening since they allowed the legs to move to easily. Once tightened they hold their position well. Overall great option for prs/nrl on a budget ... show more

  • Best tripod by far.
I never write reviews. I’ve tried many tripods. This is very light. This is the best tripod on the market for the money if you are a rifle hunter this is a must.

  • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Lightweight, Rigid, and Impressively Engineered Tripod”
The FANAUE Carbon Fiber Tripod (68”) delivers professional-level performance in a somewhat compact, lightweight design. The carbon fiber legs provide excellent rigidity while keeping overall weight lowish, making it ideal for travel and field shooting. Despite its portability, the tripod offers a solid load capacity. The quick-release leg locks operate smoothly and securely, allowing for fast height adjustments, and the multi-angle leg positions provide flexibility on uneven terrain. Stability is further enhanced by the wide stance and rubber feet, which keep vibrations to a minimum. Overall, this tripod stands out for its combination of strength, portability, and thoughtful engineering—an excellent choice for photographers needing professional stability without extra bulk. ... show more

  • Well made, sturdy, with unique design
I think as a hunting tripod this is probably a Five Star product. I'm a videographer, so I don't know the specific needs there. As a video/photography tripod it has a lot of positives, and a few drawbacks. I'm reviewing it for videography, and thus the four stars. This FANAUE is hefty! The legs are the largest I've seen in this style of tripod, and at nearly 5 pounds (without a head) it weighs the same as my heavy-duty aluminum tripods. This isn't optimum in my field where most premium legs are also lightweight. But it can support a whopping 44 pounds, which is more than most of the fluid heads that will top it. And here, perhaps, is the biggest shortcoming: the 65mm top is small for a professional video tripod. Most pro heads are 75 or 100mm. Video legs with this kind of capacity typically use a bowl between the legs and fluid head; this is a flat top, which is more typical of lightweight and travel sticks., and better suited to ballheads for photography than fluid heads for video. So plan accordingly. The beefy legs are nicely constructed. They're unique in that the design is opposite traditional tripods: the legs get THINNER at the top as it extends (the thickest portion stays at the bottom of the leg). This is actually useful in that the locking mechanism stays at the top of the tripod; you don't have to bend over to adjust a leg. I also like that it has both 1/4" and 3/8" threaded holes for attachments, and the quarter inch even as Arri locking pins. At 68" it's very tall-- with a fluid head and camera it can capture the scene above a standing crowd. And it can sink all the way to the floor for low angle shots. The push-button locking mechanism is superior to the flip locks found on many tripod legs. So it has a lot going for it as a video tripod, though the 65mm top may keep it from becoming your primary set of sticks. ... show more

  • Great quality at a reasonable price.
I have used the Fanue tripod for several weeks now and love it. I see no reason what so ever to pay $1200-$1400 for other tripods on the market... save the money for ammunition...lol
