So it's a really cool design and has a bunch of really cool features like the built-in controller charger and game slots but not sure how much cooling is provided. It does clearly blow air so I'm sure it does provide cooling for a properly functioning system but if you have a system that is overheating on certain games this may or may not help. It did not help in my situation although the PS5 being referenced is one of the first generations before PlayStation redid the hardware components. After a new coat of liquid metal the system is running great and this cooler is attached to it just to help things run a little better. The ports on the front are great and even if it does not provide a lot of cooling I would still recommend hooking this thing to your system just because it is useful in other ways. Note that it does get its power from the PlayStation itself and plugs in with a type-c table to the front port of the console. So if your front ports are not functioning for some reason you will need an adapter to reach around to the back ports. The controller charger works great and all the USB ports on the front are relatively fast. I would definitely recommend this product even if you don't need it for cooling. However like I mentioned if your system is already overheating I would not guarantee that this will provide enough cooling to keep that from happening.
