These are the best plates and bowls I've ever purchased. Granted, I don't shop for these things regularly, but now that I have this set I don't imagine I need or even want to. They're aesthetically perfect, completely functional, haven't gotten scratched up yet, and the quality is so good with the weight evenly distributed. There's some minor cosmetic issues such as a few signs of dripping during the making process that got baked in, but I'd like that it adds to the handmade feel versus a large-scale manufactured appearance. The media could not be loaded. It’s so pretty! I have 3 kids so I was skeptical about the durability of these dishes. So far so good. They are beautiful and have held up great so far. I wash in the dishwasher and seem like they’re gonna hold up for a long time. Can’t beat the price. Overall we love the dishes and find them very aesthetically pleasing. We have owned them for approximately two years now and only a couple have minor chips (this is with daily use and wash in dishwasher). My one gripe is that we ordered two sets and the plate sizes varied slightly between sets. We’re still able to stack the plates in the cabinet, so not a huge deal but still frustrating. ... show more

I just got mine and they look beautiful. The white is a bit greyish, the bottoms are rough and scratch so I'll need to buy something to place in-between these, and they don't stack as neatly as I thought they would. You will obviously have to be much more careful with these unlike other dishes, due to that nature. I find these to just be natural flaws due to it being clay so I don't count that against these. Just something to consider when buying them. That being said they arrived in perfect condition. I think they look beautiful. I will give an update in a month or two after they get proper daily use(microwave, washing, hot food, stacking, ect.). Update: It's been a few months and I can say these are good quality plates. I have accidentally dropped them and dropped a can of soup on them and they didn't get a break, crack or scratch. I was very impressed! ... show more
