The set seems sturdy but please note, the color is more beige than white. Disappointed since I selected what I thought was a creamy matte white color. Note the contrast between the plates and the bowls which are a more true white.

Love, love, love these dishes, they are truly beautiful, color is a perfect white not bright white. Fit perfectly in the dishwasher, weight is spot on. And they really are scratch resistant.
