I love this and it has really cleaned up my office space and made everything really accessible. My only complaint is that the nails that connect the folder holders to the tray aren’t very strong and you really have to wedge them all the way in and make sure the the holders are completely flat before trying to connect them. Wonderful once you really secure them in place, but I think small screws with a cap or wing nut would work much better and be so much sturdier. But that’s an easy fix, just a heads up! Overall amazing organizer for office.

I found everything to like and nothing to dislike about this organizer. I had spent some time shopping around the brick and mortar stores to no avail. I really wanted something that had both drawers and folder separators. All I found was one or the other...never a combination that I wanted. And talk about overpriced! I couldn't believe what some places wanted for metal organizers. And I wasn't willing to consider plastic ones. This was very easy to assemble. I do not understand what some reviews mean when they say that the folder separator is flimsy...or won't stay attached. Or that it falls over. Mine is very study and has no problem staying in place. I can pick up the whole unit by the separators! Easily. After assembly, the unit stands 15 1/4 inches high, desktop to top of tallest folder separator, 12 1/2 inches wide, and 9 inches deep. The folder section may be mounted to align with the left side or the right side and in the center of the base unit. The folder section itself is 9 inches wide. (Therefore, if you mount the folder unit aligning with the left or right side, you will have 3 1/2 inches of space to place something else...very useful for me...) The drawer has 3 sections (they are not configurable), two 3 1/2 sections on each side and a 5 inch section in the middle. 4 rubber feet are provided so that the unit won't easily slide. I found the $25 price very reasonable for this product.

Yes, that is what the headline should read. The biggest complaint people have on the reviews are the dreaded black and white pegs that are used to put the pieces together. And it seems tricky, and strange. You put the white pegs in, then you put the black pegs into the white pegs. So not like a screw and bolt, where on goes into the hole and the other fastens it on the other end. No this is the white fits in the hole, you push it all the way down that it clicks. The black peg in the middle you push all the way down till that clicks. What that basically does is the black peg makes the white peg expand on the other side of the hole a little bit so that it is sturdy. If you don't get both pegs pushed all the way down and clicking then it won't hold. And you might make the white peg unusable after that because it is no pre-expanded. I love the ability to store all my filing folders as well as other office supplies in the shelves below. Anyway, I really like the product. I had one issue where they sent me 2 part "D"s and no part "E" when it was supposed to be 1 part "D" and 1 part "E" for the folder holders last parts. Which to me says that they sent me a used one and not a brand new one. I contacted the seller and they were very helpful, gracious and sent me a replacement, which I greatly appreciate.

Purchased this item to organize hubby’s desk (the end of my dining room table) that tends to expand into messy, unsightly piles. I love the size and the organizational possibilities. The product arrived the day after ordering. It was in its box inside of a shipping box. The way it was packaged allows the parts to rub during transit causing the paint to rub off in some area. This doesn’t affect functionality, but it’s not aesthetically pleasing, especially in a brand new item. The instructions were easy to follow, but putting it together is not as easy. The connectors that come with it do not hold the uprights for files securely. As another person commented, save yourself frustration by purchasing screws and nuts for it. I used the zip ties to secure all the parts and cut off the tail after pushing the connector tip underneath. It works well and seems to be holding securely. Now I’m hoping when I go to bed tonight Gremlins will come along to organize this mess so I don’t have to do it.

It does it's job! The drawer allows you to put the dividers in a couple different spots on each permanent column. The only problem I have is the drawer wanting to go in uneven and catching the side. However, it's only when I'm rushed closing it, so it is my error.

This looks really nice on my desk and has helped clean up my normally messy desk (I’m working at a temp office so we don’t have storage and normal desks with drawers). I like the options for files as well as having drawers. I took a star off because I had some issues assembling it and I actually had to come to the Amazon reviews to figure it out. I kept putting the file folders on and they would just fall off. It’s because I wasn’t pushing the screws in hard enough to expand at the bottom. I ended up having to take the corners of my phone and pushing it really hard on the screws to get them to secure. I just wish the instructions had been a little more clear about pushing super hard to get the screws to secure/expand once they are pushed through.

I find this unattractively useful. Takes up very little space on my desk yet holds everything I need. My only complaint, and it really does bug me, is, The file folder spacers on top are TOO LOW!!! All my files bend forward. Not good. So I had to get creative and and use a tall, clear plastic strip (used for my computer to stick notes on). It keeps them files straight but I'm constantly adjusting it. Great idea and design. My suggestion to the company (if anyone really reads these?), Heighten the dividers so files don't fall foward Spruce up the design a bit; instead of mesh make it solid material. Overall, its a great space saver and does the job. I'm pleased with it or I wouldn't be using it.
